The Lord’s Prayer

CIII. Robert Holland

PRAY thus, when ye do pray, therefore:—

Our Father, which in heauen art,

Thy name be hallow’d euermore;

Thy kingdom we desire in hart:

Thy will in earth make vs to do

As it in heauen is; euen so.

Giue vs this day our dayly bread;

Our debts forgiue vs, we thee pray,

As we our debtors do: and lead

Vs not, O Lord! by any way

Into temptation; but see

From euill we deliu’red be.

For thine, good Lord, the kingdom sure,

The power, and the glorie is,

For euermore for to endure,

Which liuest in eternall bliss.

Let this be done, Oh Lord! we pray

In heart:—whereto Amen we say.
