David committed serious sins such as adultery and murder, he was a good king because he sought God's guidance and admitted when he was wrong. What is the role of the Messiah according to Psa 2? The word “Messiah” means the “anointed one,” it refers to a human king. The role of the Messiah according to Psalm 2 is to put God’s will into action in the world, he represents God’s rule and God’s will. 6. What is the relationship between the Gentile nations with the Messiah and Zion according to Psalms 2 and 46? According to Psalm 2 the Gentile nations need to listen to the Messiah and Zion, that was chosen by God. Psalm 46 we learn that Zion was a symbol of God's power and protecting presence.

7. Psalms 23 and 51 are all prayers. What do each of these prayers teach about the life of faith? What do they say about God? a. Psalm 23 In Psalm 23, this prayer teaches us that if we have a life of faith, we will lack nothing because God provides for our needs, we will be guided and will always be protected because God takes care of us like a shepherd cares for his sheep. Psalm 23 says that God is goodness and love. b. Psalm 51 This prayer teaches about confessing, and asking for help, while including elements of complaint, petition, trust, and praise. This prayer talks about God having mercy, compassion, and the ability to create and recreate.
