No matter where we go in the world photographs are always being taken. Photography holds a big impact on society’s everyday life, whether it is advertising, capturing memories, recording data, or those pursuing a hobby. Photography is a way to show others my own perspective of what I find beautiful or interesting. It also allows us to capture moments, and communicate by the photographs we take. Photography will be a big part of my career in the future. Knowing how to take proper photographs will help me advance in the forensics field.
When it comes to taking pictures I have never taken the time to decide what would be the best angle, lighting, or area to shoot. I do not have much experience in the photography field, but I would like to broaden my perspective and be able to take quality photos in the future. My future career is why I chose to major in Forensic Science, and Digital Photography is a requirement for me to graduate with my Bachelors Degree. Photography serves an important purpose in the forensic field, because when working with any type of investigation, I will need to know how to take photographs from certain angles. If photographs are not properly taken it could cause an investigator to miss something important in

I find photography important, because it helps people communicate by disconnecting with their phones and computers, and communicating with one another and forming relationships. It also allows people to look back on the past and reflect on significant moments in their life such as weddings, birthday, anniversaries. By being in the photography class, I hope to walk away being more knowledgeable in how to take valuable photographs, grow strong skills when working with photoshop to take advantage of some of my most important memories to share later in life, and be able to use my skills to advance myself in my future
¨Mr. Green committed murder in the pub with a bottle¨. If you like to solve mysteries, then you might find this sentence familiar. I always liked to play the game Clue because I get to solve mysteries. I want to be able to use my talent of solving mysteries in a career, and becoming a forensic scientist seems to be the perfect choice. After researching important information , such as the work environment skills required, the level of education needed, the salary and job outlook, I find myself to be highly qualified for an upcoming career in forensic science.
I’ve always heard that the hardest majors are STEM majors, and that they require a lot of time and dedication. Of course, I chose to become apart of the STEM program. However, I was not scared because my love for math and science is incredible. I am majoring in chemistry. I once was very uncertain about what career I wanted to pursue, but after many years I am more than sure what I want to do. With my Bachelor’s degree I plan to become a forensic scientist. I pondered on many careers before I decided on forensic science.
The career that I researched was forensic pathology. The job of a pathologist is to determine a person’s cause of death by examining tissues and fluids from the body. A forensic pathologist does this as well, but they are trained to examine people who died unexpectedly or violently and to recognize other things that a regular pathologist might not, such as recognizing something as intentional rather than accidental. They have to determine who the person is, the time of death, the manner of death, and if it was accidental, the instruments which caused the death.
For as long as I can remember, I have had an interest in science. When I was younger, I had always wanted to learn about animals, as well as the natural world around me. Today, I am no different, and expect that my passion for science will remain consistent throughout my future. I would like to pursue a career in the biotechnology field because I have developed a specific interest in forensic science during my high school career. I have already been taking steps in order to prepare myself for a career as a forensic scientist, as I am currently in the biotechnology program at North Point High School. The biotechnology program has given me a deeper insight to what kind of careers one can pursue in the biotechnology field, as well as a good foundation of knowledge that I will apply in my career. In addition to being in the biotechnology program, I am enrolled in accelerated science classes, and am planning to graduate high school with twelve science credits.
Many young adults aren’t aware of what they might be when they grow up. Most of the time young adults know what they are going to be, but they don’t know how to pursue their career. After searching at O*NET Online I would choose to either be a Lawyer, Medical Assistant, or a Forensic Science Technician. These careers are on all different sides of the spectrum. All of these careers sadly need long periods of schooling in order to get the correct experience and training for hands on situations.
Since I can remember I always wanted to work in the medical field. I started of wanting to become a Pediatrician, sort after that I wanted to become a Neurosurgeon, then a Forensic Anthropologist which then sparked my interest in Forensic Pathology soon after. After the idea of becoming a Forensic Pathologist circled my mind I couldn't stop questioning myself what steps I had to take in order to follow this career path. That's when I found out that I had to attend Medical School in order to follow this career. There are so many paths you can take in order to go to Medical School, for instance you can major in Pre-Med, Biomedical, Biology, Physics, Forensic Science, and so on. That's when I discovered Forensic Science as a major, and my love
In four years I want to be happy. I don't want to be stressed out about whats going to happen. I want to be prepared.
Forensic science, the application of sciences such as chemistry, physics, computer science, biology, and their relationships with the matters of law. The field can help the investigators understand many of the fields of science, from blood spatter patterns, to drug and trace evidence, and to determine the identity of unknown individual(s). Forensic science has a very important role in the criminal justice system. Forensics science provides scientifically based information from the analysis of physical evidence to help convict and or protect someone of wrongdoing. An expansive field with many jobs available from being a forensic toxicologist to working in the arson crime lab but to me the career in forensic science that interests me the most
The show “NCIS” has increased in popularity over the years and has become the most-watched and popular crime show that currently is on television. NCIS stands for Naval Criminal Investigative Service. These teams focus and work on crimes that are related to the Navy or Marine Corps regardless of the crime’s nature. The show follows a fictional Naval Criminal Investigative Service Major Case Response Team based in Washington, D.C. This specific team is underneath the leadership of Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Solving a case is no easy feat and every case requires the whole entire team. Gibb’s team includes three field agents, a medical examiner, and a forensic scientist. The purpose of this paper is to delve into any episode and critique the different aspects of the case. I will be comparing the field and the forensic scientist’s work to real-life. In most cases, these particular shows dramatized real-life so I will also explain how things would normally be done.
From a very young age, I have had a great interest in natural science. Learning about the biological world around us and in us fascinates me to no end; that is why I am very interested in the Life Sciences First Year Program at NC State University. I selected my First Choice Academic Program choice as Biochemistry Intent with the intention of pursuing a career as a Forensic Laboratory Technician. While this plan may change, I will be confident in my decision to enter NC State as a student in the LSFY Program, as the courses I take would prepare me for a variety of other careers I may find more interesting over the course of my time in the program.
The first careers that I’m going to be discussing is a forensic pathologist, which is actually something that I intend to pursue after school. A forensic pathologist is someone who perform autopsies and determine the cause and the manner of a death, disease, or injury to people who die unexpectedly, suddenly, or violently. They also determine whether the death is a homicide, suicide, accidental, natural or unknown(forensicscolleges.com). Forensic Pathologists are educated as physicians and licensed to practice medicine in the state that they are employed(explorehealthcareers.org). They have to be certified by the ABP with a subspecialty in forensic pathology. Getting certified can take between four and five years.
I chose to discuss a wide range of careers for my project. I researched from medical to musical to find what I think are the five most interesting careers on the market today. I chose to write about Forensic Pathology, Embalming, Symphonic Music, ASL Interpretation, and Deaf Education. Heres a brief overview of each career's scope, requirements, benefit packages, the best schools for the subject and those school's requirements.
While attending Stevenson I hope to gain the courage I need to break out of my shell. In doing so I will be able to converse with people without being so withdrawn and reserved. Hopefully I will also be able to make plenty of connections with people. I would also like to gain the knowledge I need for years to come after I have completed school. I chose to major in chemistry because I have always taken a liking to the sciences. Chemistry in particular was chosen because it was my favorite science class that I have taken. Right now I have decided that I want to go into the field of forensics particularly toxicology. I have researched this career and am fully prepared to obtain the skills I need for this job. The job does pay what I am looking
For my career investigation, I chose forensic science. With forensic science, you need to have at least a four-year science degree, and it’s recommended you do an internship. I managed to find a few reasonable colleges, and figured out the total prices for each college, which average out to about $395,933. I also researched a couple integral things to getting a job as a forensic scientist.
