Robert “Bobby” Phillips was an ordinary teenager, on a regular Tuesday morning in Chicago he discovered that he wasn’t there. He tottered to the restroom as usual to take his shower in the dark. When he flickered the light switch, what he didn’t see brutally terrified him. He soon made the decision to speak to his parents about the strange situation. Bobby’s mother, Emily Phillips, was an English professor. On the other hand, his father, David, was a scientist. At first, his parents did not believe that he was invisible; however he soon proved them wrong by doing one of his famous tricks. After having a brief argument with his parents, Bobby chose to bundle up and travel to the library. Even though he was not visible, his figure can be seen when he wears clothing. Bobby spent lots of time in the library, since it was one of his favorite locations. Surprisingly, she didn’t say anything. Bobby then noticed a cane on the ground, the girl was blind. She smiled at him when he returned the cane to Alicia. The conversation was short-lived and Bobby eventually made it back home. His father was outraged when he found out that Bobby left the house, specifically after his guardians told him not to. The two males got into a dispute before David exited the residence to get Emily. Bobby was upset with his guardians because they constantly work day after day. To let off steam, he decided to relax and watch a movie. He woke up to see the news channel on the television screen. At the time, there was a three-way car accident, and Bobby witnessed the family’s vehicle. Not even a minute later, the police knocked on the door, and the phone rang right after that. He picked up the phone since he knew the police officers wouldn’t be able to see
The book I choice to read was, “Brian’s Winter”, by Gary Paulsen. This book is about Brian after the private plane he was flying in crashes into the rugged forests of Canada. Brian went through many struggles while trying the best he could to survive in the harsh environment. Some of the biggest events in this story include when he is attacked by a bear, during the major storms and some of his questionable encounters with the wolves. If I were telling a friend about the entire story in two minutes I would say, Brian’s parents were divorced, leading him to visit his father for the first time in a long time. He didn’t know what to expect from the trip though, one thing is for sure, he didn’t expect what actually happened to happen. So Brian

How did Bobby start to act like an adult, at first Bobby forgot about Feather and started to walk to the rec. center with his friends, but before he turned the corner to where the rec. center was, Bobby remembered Feather. When he got to her crib he let go of the basketball, " I lay my basketball down and it rolled out the door into the the hall toward Mary's room" (Johnson, p23). One-thirty on a Thursday morning. I laid in bed worrying, after watching John rush to Main Street for a fire call. My head spun as the pager near my head continued to dispatch calls. “Be careful on the roof Watson, I can see light through,” Feltner’s voice echoed. Ambulance sirens boomed down a four-block stretch of Main Street. My body sprung from the bed and hurried out and down the block. My face began to fill with heat. Just then another page came through, “I know idiot, I put it there.” It was John’s voice. I felt relief and began to walk back down the sidewalk to our home. I heard a young girl screaming for her dog, hysterically. Finally, back in my house, I completely forgot that I had left the two girls upstairs. Thankfully,

To find out if Bobby turned imperceptible because of an electric blanket malfunctioning, Bobby stole a sheet of all the people who returned the same blanket that might have turned Bobby imperceptible and planned to call them. It didn’t go so well. The first thirteen people's phone numbers that Bobby called were no longer in service. Eight answering machines that Bobby didn’t leave a message on. Six husbands who didn't know that their wives had returned a blanket. Five wives who didn't know that their husbands had returned a blanket. Six old people who didn't,t remember about an electric blanket. Eight people who hang up because they think Bobby is trying to sell something. Six kid whose parents were not available. Last six people were pleasant and cooperative but had no idea about a strange blanket. That’s 58 people already. On the 59 call, though, Bobby gets fortuitous. At the moment I entered the alley, everything turned dark, literally. As I was stunned by the sudden darkness, the man threw off his cloak and revealed his villainous suit. It was ‘Lights Out”, he was a crooked thief who would distract and hold people hostage with his power to give people the illusion that everything was dark. He grabbed me and put a knife to my throat. In that very moment, I had millions of thoughts racing through my head. “Am I gonna die? Is he gonna actually kill me? Is somebody gonna help me?”. It was at that moment that Lights Out swung his knife at me.
