The temperatures in bullhead city can range from 90 to 120 and up for six to nine month out of the year, as well as a laid back atmosphere this environment is perfect for a water park. The city of bullhead should approve the water park because it would improve safety, health, families, and revenue for the citizens of bullhead city. The water park should provide employment as well as happy customers. The water park should help the other businesses in the area with added revenue to their business. United States in 2011 theme parks, amusement parks, and water parks generated a total direct economic impact of approximately 55.4 billion dollars (IAAPA). An argument I've heard is, "If it's such a good idea, why doesn't someone in the private sector build a water park?" The private sector must see a large enough profit to continue any venture. The city would not have to turn a large profit in order to maintain and manage such a facility. A privately owned facility would need to charge a much higher admission fee. Should the water park in bull head city make it to a reality it would bring laughter to parents and children for years to come. The water park should provide family entertainment as it would bring people from all over the tri state area. The water park should be opened in the city of bullhead because it would improve the family fun as well as, health and safety, and revenue for the businesses for the city of
This may seem controversial as some people may not be able to understand how public parks benefit anyone. Public parks may seem purely aesthetic and ornamental, adding no true value to society, therefore some would argue that the government has no justification for taking their property.
If we want our children to become more active then we need to find ways to provide areas where they can safely plan and interact with other children. We need to encourage community members to actively participate in opportunities to create a healthier community. A partnership with community members is needed to make the changes necessary to promote and provide access to safe recreational areas for children. In the short term while we are trying to find ways to clean up existing playgrounds and build new ones, we need schools to open gyms and sports fields during non-school hours so children can play safely after school, on the weekend and over summer vacation. Creating affordable after school programs, summer programs and free or low cost summer camps for low-income families is a place to start while working on building more and safer playgrounds. There are challenges regarding cleaning existing playgrounds or creating new ones. Neighborhoods or schools lack the resources to provide playgrounds, parks and after school programs and some neighborhoods are unsafe for children. Parents can become advocates for their children by writing letters to school administrators and board members. Encourage local officials to install park equipment, bike paths and safer

Lake Powell provides a great amount of an economic standpoint with the recreation and having people coming into town to have a fun vacation. “4 million visiting tourist bring in $2.5 million each year because of its centralized location, Page hosts tourists en route to many other southwestern site such as the
My city or anyother city could do without a dog park if they don't already have one. In "No Dog Park for Muscatine" it say that "It would be a burden for taxpayers and a lawsuit waiting to happen." I agree with this the citizen in my town would have to help fund this project no matter if they support it or not.
Building a dog park will be a very costly project that will impact the public, which in turn can raise taxes. This impact will not go well with taxpayers, especially, with the economy steady raising taxes for other city projects and needs.
Dear Editor, it has come to my attention that the community pool is in rough shape. We have had issues in the past with the pool and I believe we need to fix them. The pool is in a great place accessible to almost everyone in the community. I believe if we take the step to fixing up the pool and making it a fun and safe place we can have great benefits. For one, we will need funds. We can host fundraisers, different events, cookouts, etc. Second it may be a way to keep kids out of trouble and in a safe place, where they are being supervised by train lifeguards. Diving boards and adding a slide may be a great addition that could bring more people to the pool. Also adding a concession stand may draw more people and bring in more funds. Lowering
The city of Niceville, Florida has a long list of businesses that can be added to our city to make improvements and create a better environment for the citizens of our city. From that long list of businesses, I have decided that the business that I feel would be most beneficial to our city is a trampoline park. A trampoline park is a good business for the city of Niceville to help the people of our city overall in many different ways. A trampoline park would lead to good exercise, it would provide entertainment for the people of Niceville, as well as provide an abundance of job opportunities for the unemployed citizens of Niceville, Florida.
Amusement parks are in the umbrella of the hospitality industry. One of its goals is to provide entertainment for all guests. It has been that way since the beginning and has been advancing ever since. If anyone had to say it the best, it will have to be the father of the amusement parks, Walt Disney. “Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy” (GoodReads). He understood that how important amusement parks are, how keeping the original charm that the guest grew to love and advancing that park to make the guests continue to enjoy the park for years to come. Understanding the past, present and future of the amusement park will show how these parks have lasted for years and years.

In third place, people can get annoyed or frustrated across the street from the skate park. Whether it is skaters at night, Younger kids getting bothered around by older kids skateboarding or while people are building the skate park. People with kids could have a hard time with the park because, the children might want to go to the park but cannot because of the people there. Such as, smokers or bullies. Lastly, the kids might not be able to go over because of the naughty words written there. That is my third reason of why a community government should not build a skate park.
No matter how well thought out a project may be, securing funding is what will make it possible. The development and success of Smale Riverfront Park couldn’t have been done without the proper means of funding from the City, private investors and the government. The total cost of the park had grand revenue of $100 million and was funded both privately and publicly. As of today the Cincinnati Parks Foundation continues to file grants to support the park project. In fact the revenue generated through commercial opportunities has and will continue to help support the ongoing operational needs of the parkIt was determined that the first phase of the park would cost roughly $600,000 annually to operate. Operating costs will be offset through a mix
Competing amusement parks has upgraded their attractions to attract more consumers and Disney is has recently strategizing this approach to a more concentrated perspective. This can ultimately lower their revenues until the plan is complete.
First this includes theme parks, hotels and resorts, and Disney’s cruise lines. Disney has parks, in numerous global cities. In 2014 Disney had an 18% increase in operations (Gamble & Turnipseed 2014).
Other than Disney, the economy will grow due to the increased number of tourists. The local economy that thrive off Disney will certainly grow- like small food stands, Cafés, building companies etc, will all experience a higher number of customers. Other firms, such as Sogo, and other shopping related outlets will also experience the increased number of
