I would have to agree chemistry is a central science because it can be used in different aspects of science such as biology, medicine, physics and more. It brings a lot of the sciences together. Biochemistry is the study of chemical processes in living organisms. It oversees every living process and organism. According to Arizona State University (2003), “by controlling the information flow through biochemical signaling and the flow of chemical energy through metabolism; biochemical processes give rise to the marvel of life. A good portion of biochemistry deals with the functions and structures of cellular components like proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids and other biological molecules. Accordingly, the main focus of biochemistry is detecting how biological molecules organize those processes that occur in living cells. To me, Chemistry explains everything - how this specific phenomenon occurs, how things are formed and react to each other, how each element, distinguished by its unique number of electrons and structure, determine its distinctive properties. Chemistry opens in front of me an immense world of science, which stimulates my passion for learning, satisfying my curiosity and influencing my dreams. Furthermore, my passion on Chemistry also influences me to get engagement to other fields of science, such as biology and physics, in order to provide myself a better understanding of science in

First, the fact that all living organisms survive on the principles of chemical reactions enhances the interest to study chemistry.
