In the past few years, the issue of Climate Change has been introduced as an new and upcoming problem for modern leaders. There are many people who think Climate Change is a hoax, but at the same time there are many people who thinks it is the real deal. I am here to tell you that Climate Change is real and a very big problem. First off, Climate Change describes the increase level of greenhouse gases and the increase of temperature of the Earth overtime. In recent years temperatures in many areas have reached the highest they have ever been, and temperatures look to continue to rise.

Climate change is defined as the change in global or regional climate patterns, which is apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards. When looking at climate change there is an abundance of evidence that supports that humans are the leading causes of the drastic shift in the weather pattern but there is also a lot of evidence against humans actually causing climate changes. For example, the increasing levels of man made gases that are let into the atmosphere may have created a greenhouse effect, which traps heat and ultimately causes global warming. But there are also many scientists who believe that the earth has always naturally cooled down or warmed up at its own pace.

We all see the weather change from day to day and it is just a normal occurrence. Seasons change from warm to cold and we all just go about our business. But what most people don’t see change is the climate. Climate changes over a long period of time and it has shown a warming trend in the past few decades. Many people attribute this warming trend to the alarming rate that humans are burning fossil fuels and pumping Co2 into the atmosphere, however some people think that climate change is merely a myth or that global temperatures have always risen and fallen during Earth’s lifetime.

The effects of climate change can alter a number of different behaviors in animals their migratory patterns, their hibernation patterns, their breeding patterns, and their eating behaviors and in addition, all of these alterations to a habitat could cause injury to the food chain of an ecosystem. Wildlife in an area isn't only affected directly by climate change but the alterations made by humans due to climate change. All of these different changing factors all add to the severity of climate.

When CO2 gas is trapped in the earth, the planet absorbs heat instead of releasing it into the atmosphere: like a heated blanket that covers our planet, this is the idea of global warming. As stated by NASA, some of the effects that are now occurring as a result of climate change as predicted by scientists such as more intense heat waves and the melting of ice causing increased sea levels.

That might not look like a lot, but the average temperature during the last ice Age was about 4 ºF lower than it is today. The climate of the planet is constantly changing. This change is not something new; it is a very old concept, perhaps since the birth of the universe. The factors or deduction for the climate change can be split into two sides. One side is of the opinion that this is a natural course that will and has to develop, whereas the other side believes that the change has taken place because of the human activities on the earth. Climate change is induced by man’s carelessness and lack of interest. We need to make a change in order to provide a safe environment for future generations.
