Ford Foundation or as it is sometimes called, The Ford Fund, which is located in New York City, New York. Ford Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports community life, education, and driver safety (Ford Motor Company, 2015). Ford Fund has supported for many years more than six hundred nine seven non-profits organizations, such s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure with more than $115 million to the cause in donations and in-kind gifts, Feeding America with more than 176 million meals to families across the United States, United Way in the U.S. with nearly $8.1 million to support numerous community-based social services organizations, among others non-profit organizations (Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services, 2012). Ford also supports community services, such as scholarship programs, social service organizations, teen safe driving, and helping find a cure for juvenile diabetes, among other community services. Through its attainable mission and vision, Ford shows customers how solid it is in the business. The Ford Foundation really helps people to continue studying, in finding a cure for diabetes and breast cancer, and in initiatives to preserve American’ heritage, in order to improve their quality of life.
