Getting rid of pollution You can’t really understand the devastating effects that pollution has on us until you experience it for yourself. If pollution is not addressed it could cause consequences. If there is one thing that I would change in the world, it would be, getting rid of pollution. For example, people would not suffer from breathing in polluted air. Getting rid of pollution of environment, would let people survive. There is historical proof of pollution in China. China’s economy is failing because of all the pollution that cars and manufacturing plants give out. Because of polluted air the have be a high number of lung cancer because of breathing in polluted air. Moreover, if we don’t try to stop pollution people would continue
Air pollution is air with a lot of chemicals in it that makes it hard for us to breathe. We breathe 2 gallons of air per minute which makes it 3400 gallons of air each day. Above 50,000 people die in America due to air pollution. 80% of our lung disease are caused by the pollution of the cars. Indoor air pollution is 2-5 times worse than the air outdoors. Ways to reduce air pollution is by wearing mask continually to save ourselves from air pollution. Electric vehicles produce less air pollution because they don’t produce gas. Another way to reduce it is that ensure new vehicles had to be fitted with catalytic converters. With these changes it also reduces ozone pollution. Ozone air irritant your eyes, nose and throat. By making these changes it would be easier for everybody to breathe.
Although thought to be “not a big problem” and “under control” by most people, pollution is making its way in being a serious and an unforgiving threat to society. Pollution a topic everyone hears and knows exists. What they don’t know is how serious of a problem it is already becoming. Many health issues are being reported now that are linked to air pollution and even the most severe weather places have encountered are linked to air pollution also. By society, not fully being aware of the true threat that pollution is making, it will only become a growing threat that they will be encountering.
Air pollution are impacting the environment, and it is imperative that laws are enforced to help build and sustain a better air quality. Air pollutants can be in the form of particulate matter which can be very harmful to our health. Stimulation to our eyes, nose, throat, and breathing infections such as bronchitis and pneumonia are all short-term effects. You’re head might hurt, you might want to puke, and you might have allergic reactions. Short-term air pollution can put people with asthma and emphysema in a worse condition. Long lasting breathing disease, lung cancer, heart disease, and even damage to your brains, nerves, livers, or kidneys are all long-term effects. If you’re exposed to air pollution continuously, it would affect children’s lungs and may complicate medical conditions for the elders. Some people argue and deny the bad air problem. They claim that pollution may actually be good for the Earth. The hazy weather caused by pollution has made plants far more productive when it comes to scrubbing greenhouse gasses out of the air. Pollution has turned plants into better carbon dioxide processing machines. But this is bad for our own health. Pollution is causing global warming which leads to massive ice land melting. Polar bears and other animals that live there are losing there habitats and even dying. Melting ice could also lead to more sea water which would bury some cities or land near the coastal areas. There is already a tremendous amount of people on this planet. If our land decreases, and our population continues to increase, some people would have to start living on another planet; therefore, making it a priority to address the areas
Collier asserts that the poorest states are in need of rapid economic growth which creates tension between poverty reduction and the perversion of nature. This is most evident in China where their desire to grow economically has come at the price of pollution. While China has grown exponentially economically and have reduced poverty, this growth is not sustainable due to their negligence of the environment. The level of pollution in major cities has hurt the Chinese economy because individuals are refusing to do business there due to health concerns. This effects Chinese businesses and their tourism industry. More times than not, states will choose economic growth, however, in the long run this choice will negatively impact their economy.
In today’s society, environmental problems are a big problem that plague our world. These detrimental changes are creating astonishing problems for every living organism. Global warming is not a myth. Glaciers are rapidly melting, ecosystems are being destroyed, trees are being cut down for profit, and the globe is warming up and changing our normal climate. Everyone is a contributor to these changes, whether it is a big contribution or a small one. Big businesses and governments all around the world are contributing to the increase in pollution. Factories release chemical waste into our air, and oceans which over time causes holes in our ozone layer. This is not a small easily reversible problem. Chemical air pollution causes problems to not only our environment, but to all the species living on this earth.
In my personal opinion, to make a difference in our air quality, communities, businesses, industries, designated events about the issue need to be raised. We all need to come together to think of solutions, to better the air quality that will also positively impact the global warming issue it has caused. When really putting this into perspective the air pollution does affect many things around us aside from our own health; photosynthesis, there would be an increase in productivity, sustainability, health cost, prevention of asthma in younger generations and an overall environmentally efficient surroundings.
If people didn't at least try to keep air pollution to the EPAs standards, it would be devastating for all of us. The OECD ( The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) says that by the year 2050, 3.6 million people will die by premature death due to high amounts of air pollution. The report is based on the current policies that scientists say are safe. We need to make the right changes now or we are basically sentencing ourselves to
What would you do if you woke up and thought, “The only thing we did to our world is destroy it.”As depicted in the text “Silent Spring” and “Nobel Speech”, pollution is the most significant effect people have on the environment.
Your day has been great so far. You went on vacation, you found a dollar bill on the floor, you ate your favorite dish, nothing can be better than this. As soon as you walk on the boardwalk you are hoping to see big waves and fish in the sea, instead, you see dead fish and some animals floating in the water next to old car tires, trash, and fertilizer. Now you feel terrible and want to go home. Pollution is devastating. The reason why I researched this topic is that I do not want my family nor my planet to get sick. Pollution can be stopped very easily, it’s just that people “don’t know” how to stop or they just don’t care, which is a serious problem. I want people to see that pollution is mainly caused by humans, and also for them to see that it is a horrible thing that is happening. Some kids litter because they see their parents and their whole family doing it. When I was researching this topic, I noticed that I needed to find out more information, so I asked questions to myself. When did pollution get so bad? How many animals have gone extinct because of pollution? How many people die each year because of pollution? How much does everyone on the planet pollute each year? What is the best way to stop pollution? Can just one person make a difference? After a lot of research, I found out lots of ways that we can stop pollution, so it is possible to end it. Or at least improve the air.
Pollution has become a prevalent issue worldwide and has begun to affect the air used to breathe, the soil used to grow food, and the water used to drink. All of these effects result in commonly occurring destruction of health and wildlife that one may have seen on the news or heard from peers. In order to live, one needs food, water, clothing, and shelter. If the water and food that society consumes gets contaminated, a major component of life has been eradicated, which can only have negative consequences. If more people are educated as to what effects the environment, the world has a chance to counteract the effects of pollution. The main causes of pollution are the burning of fossil fuels such as with car exhausts, littering as a result of societal norms and laziness, and factory waste as a result of lax waste regulation, and can result in mass destruction of the environment and catastrophic effects on the everyday lives of contemporary people.
Last year the United States alone, used over 39 billion plastic bottles of water. That is enough to wrap around the earth over 190 times. Global warming is a growing problem because humans are eliminating trash improperly, car fumes are affecting the quality of air, and because of improper oil disposal in the oceans.
Smog has been spreading rapidly in China since 2013 with an increased number of haze days, which seriously affected residents ' daily life. Smog as an environmental problem has become a major social concern and the government has promulgated a number of policies and governance strategies. In June 2013, the State Council carried on the ten air pollution control measures and strived to practice the code of conduct --- "share breath and struggle". Subsequently, the State Council promulgated the "Air Pollution Control Action Plan"; the provinces and municipalities published the implementation details of air pollution control action plan and other documents. The introduction of these policies not only indicates that China urgently needs to solve the haze problem, but also shows Chinese government 's determination of environmental pollution control. China increases efforts to solve the air pollution including haze problem, and there are some results. However, consecutive smoggy skies and continuous spread across the country also show that for China air pollution governance will be a long battle.
Pollution is a very big issue. It is a problem that nations across the world struggle with. The power of pollution is caused by technology, culture, and location and geography. It’s a big problem because if we don’t change something now it’s only going to get worse. Pollution is harmful to us and wildlife. It is in the air we breath, the water we drink and even the soil we use for our crops. Pollution causes environmental degradation, bad human health, and Global Warming. If something doesn’t change now, it’s only going to get worse. Pollution is so powerful because of the massive effect it has on the World.
Pollution can produce a form of secondhand pollution. Secondhand pollution is the way that these different types of pollution can influence each other. For instance, we use diesel to power machines, but the machines pollute our atmosphere and in turn, the atmosphere pollutes our water and our land. The problem with pollution prevention is that it requires people to understand more than the intimate details of the production process. If we do not understand the problem fully, how can we expect to find a solution? Pollution is devastating to our environment. If we hope to reverse some of its devastation, we have to educate ourselves against the possible harmful effects of pollution and its ability to transform its ill effects from one type to another.
Environmental pollution is one of the most serious problems faced by humanity today. Air, water and soil-all harmed by pollution are necessary to the survival of all living things. Badly polluted
