Something which has never before been seen is happening now. The Earth 's atmosphere is warming more rapidly in the past 100 years than ever before. According to physicist Jennifer Burney (2013:54), the current warming trend being seen today has everything to do with the social and economic advances from the 19th century Industrial Revolution. During this time, fossil fuel use accelerated the changes we see today in agriculture, manufacturing, and power. For example, fossil fuels such as oil, coal and natural gas supply most of the energy needed to fuel the cars we drive, and generate electricity for industries and households. Unfortunately, the burning of these fossil fuels puts too much carbon dioxide into the air. This in turn, increases the number of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere causing our climate to become hotter. With that being said, there is a scientific consensus that climate change is occurring, and that human activities are the primary driver. Warming of the climate system is undisputable, and according to Dr. Michael Mann (2009:14), who holds joint positions in the Departments of Meteorology and Geosciences at Penn State, states that scientists are more than 90% positive that global warming is primarily caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases produced by human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. Did you know that Climate change is affecting people all around the world? Climate change is a very bad thing that has been going on for hundreds of years. So many things are being affected by climate change. Things that are being affected are trees, plants, animals, and even people. One reason that climate change is happening is that the earth is always in orbit so the climate is always changing. Climate change isn’t only nature, climate change is caused from humans, the sun, and animals. We are causing climate change by burning things. Scientists predicted this and they’re using models to predict climate change. Snow leopards in the Himalayas are dieing off. Asian Rhinos depend on floodplain grasslands and climate change changes the seasonal patterns the Rhinos go off of. Orang-utans are also one of the species at risk from deforestation. The ice that the Polar Bears use for homes are slowly starting to melt which means they are becoming more and more crowded.

The ageing population may be considered as blessing to the economy. They have wide knowledge and experience which might get exploited.

Today we face a major threat: global warming. People polluting the air constantly get so blinded by their own greed that they do not tend to realize what they have created. Our society runs on fossil fuels as a source of power, and as we continue to abuse the use of nonrenewable resources, we harm the Earth’s climate. Humans have made the biggest contribution to global warming, and the dangers will only get worse if nothing gets done. Our various toxic activities, such as working at power plants, drilling up natural gases and oil, and deforestation all emit greenhouse gases into the air, and because of these omissions large bodies of ice and oceans, the wildlife, and people 's health will continue to get harmed extremely unless governments worldwide gets together and place a ban on greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2045.

Climate change has major implications on ecology and society. Rising temperatures, increased precipitation and other factors have already had a major impact on ecology as can be seen in regular newspaper headlines. The topic of climate change can be emotive and often a topic of debate as the Earth’s climate is extremely complicated.

Climate change is pressing issue in the world for quite some time now. Early it was known more aggressively as global warming, but most recently it has been considered as climate change. But over the years there being many different perspectives and viewpoints on the issue. Some nations don’t even think about in their quest to become a developed nation. Certain Developed nations have taken great strides in preventing climate change. Other Developed nations are aware of what’s happening to the planet, but haven’t taken too many decisions in Preventing climate change. But why do different nations have different perspectives on climate change? Recently the Factions in the United States on the right and the left differ on climate change and Europe is leading way due to different perspectives on all sides which diverge the democracies.

The man looks back to today’s date and asks himself why we did not stop the climate change when we had the chance. However, today global warming is out of control, global temperatures are steadily rising. “The primary cause, a consensus of scientists has said, is the rising emissions of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane” (Stone, 2013). The CO2 stays in the atmosphere for 50 to 100 years, nitrous oxide for 114 years while the methane stay in the atmosphere for at least 12 years. The impact of these greenhouse gases is of an immediate concern as it is increasing and is long lasting so we should not wait any longer to control the human activities that produce these greenhouse gases causing the climate change.

Global warming presents a huge problem in the world today, but not every scientist believes this. They think that the weather is just supposed to change naturally. If you look around there is evidence to support this theory. The sea level is rising, the global temperature has become warmer, the oceans are not as cold, and the Arctic ice has begun to disappear. Greenhouse effect and the depletion of the ozone layer also contributes to Global warming. There are many predictions about Global warming, the Greenhouse effect, sea level rising. Scientist have various predictions on how life on Earth will change by the year 2100.
