CONFLICT ANALYSIS USING 5 WHYS TECHNIQUE Conflict is simply a disagreement or argument that can occur between two individual, groups of people in an organisation or between an employer and an employee. Having worked in a home base healthcare company, we use to have conflict almost every minute of the hour, hour of the day, days of the week, weeks of the month and months of the year and these conflict is relatively the same but from different employee or the same employee, social worker, clients and their relatives. Carer A will pick carer B on her way to work because they both live in the same vicinity, but on this faithful day, carer B decided to be a whistleblower. She reported because she wants to protect her interest, that of her client and the company. She mentioned that carer A no longer pick her up, she has been getting to the client earlier than the scheduled time or whenever they are together, carer A bosses her by leaving her to work all by herself without assisting her and at the end they both get paid or occasionally carer A would have finished the work before she gets to the client. This technique was implemented in the 1930s by Sakichi Toyoda and became popular in the 70s. It is an adequate tool to use when problems are simple due to its simplicity, flexibility and quickness in identifying and solving the problems. Toyota uses this technique to solve problems even up till today. Therefore, I am going to ask the following question to get to the major cause of the conflict between carer A and B.
