“How will college change my life?”
Colleges are institutions of higher learning; I would go to college simply to make more money. College could be described as a rite of passage, where future working men and women step out from sheltered childhood lives into an independent place of learning. It is different from the original schooling most children receive as there is a more in-depth workload that requires more studying. College will change my life as I am open to many fields of study, expanding my mind and giving a glimpse of what to expect when I step out into the working world. Flexibility with learning and providing me with the option to choose what interests me, being treated as an adult by taking responsibility for one’s own actions

As college students, we as students must have a fierce ambition to accomplish a balance between a healthy, steady social life and a bright academic future. Communication is an important tool in life, not just inside college that broadens our horizons and makes us more intelligent generally.
The future working men and women who enter college are adults and will be treated as such. An adult is one who has matured to know what is right and what is wrong. The importance of a rule is a line between right and wrong that many places including colleges have as a guiding tool. College students who enter are expected to follow rules as the rules are meant to protect us and set a guideline. Adults also know how to be self-sufficient, being able to do their work, without anyone’s help or stealing someone else’s work: plagiarism. College is where we are expected to perform to the best of our abilities because as students we have a fierce ambition to get ahead by earning a degree.
College is a chance to be free and is a bridge between the real world and school. I’m an adult and expected to behave as such; I make my own choices where I have to decide what is important to me. I have an opportunity to learn how the world works, to explore the limitless possibilities and a chance to admire how vast knowledge can be. College will change my life in the way that I can develop life skills outside academics, to be fully
College offers many important benefits, including access to knowledge and skills, increased job opportunities, job satisfaction, job stability, huge impact of the family well-being, ability to make better choices, and the probability of increased income. A college education offers experiences and benefits that affect students for the rest of their lives.
College gives students endless opportunities. During this time, students are able to grow and develop academically and individually. It also provides students with
in these institutions, but this must be done in a way that fosters better critical thinking and prepares them to deal with life outside of the classroom. I firmly believe that the steps discussed above could lay the groundwork for better communication in college
First, I believe college is determining my personality type, including what kind of person I want to be and what type of activities I naturally gravitate towards. The Myers-Briggs personality type I possess is introversion, sensing, feeling, and judging (ISFJ) which is also defined as “the defender”. Understanding this provides helpful details about what kind of career or major I may want to pursue, which is one of the most important factors as to why I am attending college. College is the opportunity to receive a degree, increasing my chances of attaining a high quality job in the future, which will then allow me to provide for my family.
I believe college can do this for anyone and it can open you up to numerous environments, educationally and socially. In addition, I’m choosing to go to college because I want to further my education, and to earn a degree that I believe I deserve. It’s a proven fact, that with a degree you have so many more opportunities and benefits than to those with only a high school diploma. I want to prove to everyone that looked down on me and doubted me, I can imagine that’s an amazing feeling. Lastly, I’m going to college so I can motivate my family members, friends and one day, my children. I am confident that I can do excellent in college, and I’m excited to see how my decision with affect my
College is a great time in a person 's life. This is the time when a kid is growing into who he or she wants to become. College is the time where constraints as a minor are not valid to a student 's life anymore. College gives people the experience of living life for him or herself. A child is turning into a young adult. Students live on campus and get the chance to experience different cultures and customs. Students should not feel unsafe at a place that they have to spend a great amount of time.
College is the time of exploration, experimentation, to be irresponsible and learn from all of that in order to truly grow and mature, yet some are guaranteed this experience in the carefree wonderful manner it was intended to be while others must rub pennies together and save just to even make it to those big beautiful University gates.
College pushes me to be responsible. I can no longer depend on my parents with rules, punishments, or motivation. Unlike high school, college is voluntary. As a student, I am expected to own up to my actions, as well as, for the consequences of my decisions. By studying two to four hours at home, getting help from my professors, and showing up to class everyday willing to learn it shows that I am able to set priorities, and that I am becoming liable. I now make most of decisions, and I feel like an
College is a big change in my life. It is a step I need to take to reach my goal. I don’t have too many expectations about college, because it is my first time experiencing it. I have heard that college is much harder than high school, and I completely understand that. I expect to get a lot of work, which I have already noticed, plenty of distractions, and a new way of living.
In our systematic society, college is the milestone of true choice and freedom. Those who choose not to attend are generally frowned upon, and that fact alone is enough to persuade anyone into making the great leap. For me college is much more than just a seemingly obligatory phase in the hierarchy of education, it is a way to exponentially increase my knowledge in subject matter that I enjoy while getting a taste of independence.
College is a huge step to take in life and causes lots of change in one’s life. In a way, it stealthily teaches you how to be independent and breaks you away from the sheltered life you’re in and throws you into a whole new world. When I think about my life so far, and what I have ahead, I now know that I am ready to take this step in life. Growing up and moving around a lot, I had to become adaptable to new situations and environments. This is a genuine skill that has become a true aspect to my life. My best adaption was entering high school. That’s where my interests truly flourished. I joined marching band and swim. These decisions changed my high school life in a big way. I enjoyed showing up every day and it gave me confidence.
Attending college will impact my life for the greater good and lead me to gain great achievements. I know as I attend college, there will be times I must step out of my comfort zone and speak up for myself. Which at times may not be easy, but thus, will lead me to become a confident and stronger person. Attending college will also widen my knowledge and show me different career routes, which will inevitably lead me to my perfect career choice. I hope to
College is a stepping stone to becoming a responsible adult. This is because for the first time in a student’s lives they are living on their own without their parents and independently trying to figure out how to make it in this world. It’s a world completely different from high school in that not only school is your first priority,
College is a way to for me change my life around. During my senior year of high school, I was unsure of myself if college was the right path for me to take. There were three doors open for me that year, I was struggling to figure out what door to open. The first door was easiest one to take that was automatically to start to work. At first, I thought this life would help me earned the most money. College is very expensive to attend. I thought if I go to college; I would be wasting my time in going. Someone told me that working straight out of high school isn’t the choice I wanted to take and I should further on my education to get better career. So that left me with two doors, the door I would have taken would lead me to college. One door was for me to join the army for four years and then go to college. The last door was to go straight to college. The path I choose all depends on how I am going to pay for college. All thanks to my closest and longest friend who
Going to college was always an immense goal of mine for as long as I can remember. By definition college is a building occupied by an institution of higher education. To me college means a place to learn more about yourself, what you want to do with your life, and plenty more. Going to college is an opportunity to be a better you. If you are not sure as to what you want to do with your life or how you want to spend the rest of your life, then attending college is a way to figure it out. You learn what kind of job you want, if you want a job, and what kind of person you are. If you are shy and not outgoing, college may break you out of your shell if you give it a chance. Getting a better education and learning tons of new information everyday is also what college means to me. In my opinion, college is a wonderful place to be to get an education and make lots of new friends while figuring out who you are as a person.
