This type of work does not require a high level of education, but it does require supervision to ensure the job is being completed correctly. In compare, a manager may supervise health care professional, who have been trained to act independently, make most of their own decision, and determine most of their own behavior, and example would be nurses or doctors. They have a higher level of education that is required to complete the job, but often require the most general direction. A human resource manager of the health care organization employees may require regular supervision, but also must have a higher level of education to complete the daily job duties. The role of human resources is also very important in maintaining an effective health care industry. If the managerial personnel are performing their duties effectively and efficiently in a health care organization, the organization will automatically progress. Additionally, the organization will provide the improved outcomes of the patient health and health care delivery as well. This is so because human resource is also considered as one of the most important inputs to effective health care services. Although there exists a variety of challenges in inducting qualified human resource professionals but there is a strong need to solve this issue. (Kabene, 2006)
The counseling model and financial model utilized by human resource departments are two types that work really well within the healthcare setting. As discussed by Fallon and McConnell (2007) the counseling model of human resources is generally used in the healthcare settings and other places where employees are a large part of the budget. Smita Navare (2008), states that the counseling model of human resources gives the organization four major benefits that will help any organization moving forward. These are: 1.
Men’s health has been an ongoing discussion for many years now. There have been discussions regarding the lack of men making, or keeping appointments with their physician, also acquiring a physician before receiving a diagnosis that will leave life changing results as well as seeking health care. Men have been known to refuse simply refuse to visit a doctor unless he is feverish and lying on his sick bed. Responses, such as the situation
Healthcare worker shortage is not only affecting the health care but also individuals that needing aide, and many patients that needed attention because of their situations. According to World Health Organization (WHO), the world will be short 12.9 million health-care workers by 2035 (2013). How can we prevent this kind of dilemma? “To prevent this happening, we must rethink and improve how we teach, train, deploy and pay health workers so that their impact can widen.” (Kieny, 2013). There are so many students who graduated from medical school but because of lack of knowledge in a certain area or lack of experience many health care providers would not hire them. In this kind of situation can you say this is an individual students fault, allied/medical

America’s healthcare system is arguably one of the largest, most inefficient information enterprises in the world (Hillestad et al., 2005, p. 1108). Health information technology (HIT) has the potential to significantly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare sector by helping providers manage information. Equally important, it is a critical intervention designed to improve coordination of care across a fragmented healthcare system. As a result, HIT improves care quality which leads to better patient outcomes.
It is very important for the administrator to understand the regulation and statutes in health care, it is not just because it’s their job, but it is because administrator are the ones that are in charge of managing the entire facility (depends how big is the workplace is), and responsible for the staff. They are also the ones that arranging/fixing some problems
There are stages when it comes to employee’s life cycle. When it comes to each stage of human resources life cycle it has there challenges, there are many opportunities and benefits when working for healthcare careers. Let’s say if working for a small business the experience can be excessive to an employee turnover. When it comes to motivation stage of a HR the life cycle will need attention. So if an employee’s skills are not improving the Office Manager will have to address an evaluation stage. So when there a breakdown on any stage of the cycle the Office Manager will take the necessary steps to correct the problem so the employees and business can continue to grow. Every office should have their employees experience the five different stages when working for a healthcare facility and that is having Recruitment, education, motivation, evaluation, and celebration so the business can continue to grow and to start hiring the right people. When it comes to hiring the right people decisions can play a critical role but in order to succeed in recruitment phase of an HR life cycle it will need to create a staffing plan that will include the understanding of any positions the are being filled and what is being expected od an employee so that strategy wont attract the best of the best when it comes to hiring. It’s always good to start with their education process from the time when there are starting a new position. They should know there role for the company they working for,
Every patient is supposed to access safe and quality healthcare services at all times. As such, it gets important to develop proper communication channels and a good understanding of the patients for purposes of offering high quality healthcare services.
