I considered that it was in the community I know and love, it was clearly a top ranked program, and it would let me become something I’d always dreamed of being--a Jayhawk! As the time got closer to when I would have to make my final decision on where to apply, I became close to a student who was enrolled in the KU MOT program. It is just like a walking the road without any light.” After I heard his story, it reminded me about my original desire which I wanted to commit myself. Choosing what to do after high school is a major decision in life and for most it is the first big decision that will lead to many others. I have always wanted to go to college but still have not decided on which one is best for me. This decision became easier for me once I decided which major I wanted to go into. A lot of schools in Ohio do not offer a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or classes for Pre-Physical Therapy so that narrowed down my list greatly. Bowling Green State University is a better fit than Toledo University for me in my path towards becoming a Physical Therapist in regards to cost, size, and logistics for my major.

Another thing that makes me interested in this job is because I have went through physical therapy myself, so I would be able to better relate to the patients and sympathize with how they feel and what they are going though. Physical Therapists spend most of their time on their feet, helping the patients which suit my preferences because I want to up and moving around for my job, not sitting behind a desk all
