Human Resource Manager focuses on three main areas which are Recruitment of, Management of and providing training for the people who are employed within the organisation. This department deals with hiring, health and safety, motivation for the employees (such as bonuses) and managing the performance. An organisation that I will be relating this too is Tesco. There are three main factors that Tesco has to consider and they are Internal planning, External planning and Employee skills. Task 1 (P1) Two planning factors that Tesco HR manager consider are internal and external. Internal planning factors are factors that are already occurring within the business. Tesco changes when new methods are used within the business, such as introducing new products or services or new technology. This will provide new skills for new and existing staff. There are many internal factors that are used in an organisation and for Tesco; three main internal planning factors that they use for their organisation are new technology, work profiles and expanding to new markets. Internal factors: New Technology Over the years, technology has become a major part for a business and for an individual as well. Technology has become so advance that it has made a major effect for the staff as well as for the customers.
