Rowling and the cognitive development theory it gives the impression that J.K. Rowling was advanced for her age when it came to reading and writing and learning. The cognitive development theory says that from birth to two years old that the child lacks language, and mental representations of objects but basic language and object concept is learned. From two to seven years the child cannot focus on two aspects of at situation at once so they lack conversation. While J.K Rowling was 6 years old she was writing her first ever book. She was well taken care of and she had access to getting a good education. She did get picked on for her name but that did not discourage her from writing. They always pushed her to do well in school and to continue her education. Next is the exosystem, which would include her extended family, the media, even people starting to read her work.
