Climate change has been in debate for many years over whether it is a threat or not, but climate change is a threat and will be for many generations to come. Climate change impacts the sea levels which has a major effect on oceans and marine life, causes more frequent and harsher storms, and puts coastal cities at risk for floods and erosion. The combustion of fossil fuels, along with deforestation are causing an increase in carbon dioxide. These carbon dioxide emissions are being trapped in our atmosphere and are warming the surface of the planet. Climate change is occurring right now, and if no actions are taken, then there is going to be a continuation of the relocation of animals, extinctions, and harsh consequences for humanity.
