Monday Night Majors 2018-2019 1. Since Monday will fall on both Christmas and New Year’s Eve this year, we are looking at the meeting on August 6th at 8:00 P.M. with bowling officially starting on August 13th at 8:00 P.M. 2. Team sponsorship will remain $100 dollars and is due ASAP. If a sponsor is not obtained, it is the responsibility of the team captains to ensure that the $100 dollars is paid. 3. Handicap is on 100% of the difference between teams. 4. Any new bowler without an established average will enter the league with a 195 average. If the bowler has a book average from the previous year, that average will be used. 5. Bowlers can enter up until the end of the 3rd frame. Any bowler who is in arrears of dues past 3 weeks will not be able to bowl unless prior arrangements are made with the league officers. Their team must take a blind score for their positions until arrangements are made. Subs will not be permitted to bowl for that position until it is in good standing with the league. It is the captain’s responsibility to enforce this rule. (Officers and the board of the directors of the league reserve the right to refuse any arrangement attempt made by a bowler based on bowler history, etc.) 7. Once a bowler commits to the Majors, (1 game), they are responsible for the $60 dollars that is paid at the beginning of the season. There will be NO REFUNDS to bowlers who quit the league regardless of the reason. If a team commits to the Majors and bowls one week in the league and decides to drop out, they are still responsible for the $100 dollar sponsorship fee as well. 8.
