My First Year At The Centene Talent Acquisition Transformation Project

“Colorful and fruitful” will summarize the second half of my first year here. Beginning with making through the tough transition from college to my first job, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone, started performing at a senior level, and presented myself as a valuable asset to PAS. I started building up my competencies as well as confidence through actively involving in internal initiatives, pursuits, engagements, and professional networks. I also worked directly with the executive director and two managers on the latter project and constantly received excellent feedbacks.
2. Demonstrate business acumen and build EY brand
a. I am always prepared when facing clients and take the responsibility for meeting client needs. When coordinating the two-day workshop, I took the ownership of workshop agenda, attendee list, guiding principles, presenter notes, and volunteered to take detailed notes including key decisions, pain-points, and opportunities. Moreover, in furtherance of understanding the subjects and client’s business environment, I collaborated with the manager and prepared the RAI Background Check deck and Centene Candidate Experience deck, which provided enough knowledge of the client’s current state and leading TA practice in the industry. After the two-day workshop, we heard and noted their pain-points and worked with the team to better understand the issues and challenges from the client’s perspective and culture.
b. Throughout the Centene TA project, I was consistently proactive about managing client expectations. Since this project timeframe was shortened by half due to budget issues, I always helped managing client expectations on deadlines and balanced well between work completion versus quality.
