Newton and Einstein have changed science dramatically. They didn’t just change the scientific world, they conveyed many ideas and statements that would modified it for centuries to come. Without Newton and Einstein's discoveries we wouldn’t be where we are in the scientific world today. First of all Newton developed the theory of gravity, he created the laws of motion, and he created a new and better version of math called calculus. Newton was an English Physicist and also a Mathematician. One of his very famous quotes is “ I can calculate the motion of heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people”. There was also a scientist named Albert Einstein. Albert was a mathematician and physicist. He came up with the concept of rest energy through …show more content…
But it was not easy for him to get to where he went. Albert was born on March 14 in 1879, in Wurttemberg, Germany, and grew up there. He started speaking at a late age of seven years old, making him develop a speech problem, this made him curious about silly ordinary things like time and space which help him want to become a scientist. His father gave him a compass, which made also made him want to become a scientist even more. He was homeschooled for one year and then sent to primary school. After entering school Albert did not like authority and was often rude and cocky to them, making many teachers not like him. He attended school and tried, but many teachers said he would never go far in life because of problems he had in school . Einstein was also Jewish, so this causes many problems for him since he lived in Germany right around the time the Nazi were invading. But these traits would help make these ordinary men become a face that no one ever forgot. He conquered the obstacles and started to go to college at Trinity. At college he focused most of his time in math and physics and graduated in 1900 with a physics degree. He tried his hardest to work as a professor, but could keep a job , so he put his time into developing his theory and
Over the centuries, math has evolved in an astounding way. Over the years there have been some amazing mathematicians, but none of them compare to Sir Isaac Newton. Newton contributed to the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. Success means completing something that one was aiming for. In The Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell, he talks about if one wants to be successful the the person has to spend 10,000 hours working on their project. Newton’s success was due to his external factors and how he spent a plethora of hours discovering all of his theories.
Isaac Newton was born on January 4th, 1643 in Woolsthrope-by-Colsterworth, Lincolnshire, England. Newton, having a severe distaste of farming and no aptitude to make a living off of it, convinced his mother to allow him to continue his schooling once he surpassed the age of 17. He made the majority of his discoveries and theories during his time studying at Cambridge University’s Trinity College. Some of his discoveries and theories that shaped the worlds of math and science as we know it today include: Calculus, the theories of gravitation, the correlation of the refraction of light and colors (otherwise known as optics), and the Three Laws of Motion. Newton died of natural causes at the age of 84 in London, England
The reason why his parents left Germany because Albert’s father was a businessman so his father had a business in Milan. So Albert stayed in Germany just to finish high school. But in school Einstein was only good in math and science but in the other subjects he was not good at. Then Albert quit high school in Germany and also lost his German citizenship and went to Switzerland to finish high school. After finishing high school Albert applied for a college called Swiss Federal Polytechnic Institute. The first Einstein took the exam he failed. Einstein waited a year to take the exam again and this time he passed the exam. Albert later started to study math and science with some people that later became his friends. Einstein graduated out of college in 1900 but the two years that came were too difficult for Albert. He wanted to teach math and science in college but never found a job in a college. Lucky in 1902 Albert got a job in Swiss patent office. It was a place that where people could their ideas and the people that worked there to make the new
Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, in the Kingdom of Wüttemberg in the German Empire, on March 14, 1879. He was an Ashkenazi Jew that attended a Catholic elementary school in Munich from the age of 5 for three years. At the age of 8, Albert was transferred to Luitpold Gymnasium (now known as the Alber Einstein Gymnasium). This is where he had received advanced primary and secondary school education. He had left the German Empire seven years later. Due his father losing his job, the Einstein family moved to Italy in search of jobs. Einstein continued to
Born March 14, 1879 in Omen, Germany, Albert Einstein was always thinking. From how to build a small model car to how to construct the first atomic bomb ever, he was extremely intelligent. As a kid, he had some of the lowest grades in school. His teachers were hard on him, and they explained to his parents that they don't think Albert will every learn the right way. They didn't know that the young Jewish kid was deeply thinking, and would soon be known worldwide.
Isaac Newton was born early on December 25, 1642, in Woolsthorpe, England. Newton’s father (also named Isaac Newton) died 3 months before he was born. His mother (Hannah Ayscough) remarried a man named Barnabas Smith and started a new family with 3 more children. Newton did not like his new stepfather, even threatening to burn down their house as a teenager, so he decided to live with his grandmother.
“If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.” This is a famous quote by scientist and mathematician Sir Isaac Newton. He changed the world’s point of view by proposing the principles of gravity and the law of color. Although he faced through challenges and challengers, he became one of the greatest geniuses that ever lived. As we see in his quote, the “giants” were in fact Newton’s idols like Galileo and Rene Descartes. He studied their work and then came up with his ideas and inventions. Legend says that an apple fell on his head, hence he made up the principles of gravity. This, unfortunately, did not occur, as Newton and other biographers embellished it, passing on over generations(biography.com).
Isaac Newton was born on January 4, 1643, in Woolsthorpe Manor, United Kingdom. Isaac Newton interested me in his work and many other things. I’ve learned about him multiple times and actually have read multiple books about him. After the years of learning about him, it has interested me to write a paper about him. Newton is most famous for his law of gravitation, and was instrumental in the scientific revolution of the 17th century. Isaac Newton grew up at Woolsthorpe, a village in southwestern Lincolnshire, England. His father died two months before he was born. When he was three years old, his mother remarried and moved away, leaving Isaac in the care of his grandmother. Isaac Newton has two sisters named Mary Smith and Hannah Smith Pilkington.
Sir Isaac Newton was born on January 4, 1643, in Woolsthorpe, England. He grew up in this town being primarily raised by his grandmother, because his father died when he was young, and his mother left him for nine years when she moved in with her second husband. Growing up attended King’s school and didn’t have any real hobbies outside of that. He hated farming, and it was soon decided that he wouldn’t be continuing in that field as his mother wished originally. He was never married and had no children. He wasn’t extraordinarily close to his family, as he stayed much of the time, so his family life was lacking (Biography 1). Isaac Newton died March 20, 1727 in London, England.
Albert Einstein began his influential life at a young age. Growing up Einstein was a gifted child, he excelled in a number of subjects such as mathematics, science, and music. He also played multiple instruments and won several academic awards. Having such an educated childhood Einstein benefitted more than the children around him. He had gained knowledge as a kid that would carry him into his adulthood. Albert Einstein decided he wanted to be a philosophy teacher, but his father, Hermann Einstein, convinced him to be an electrical engineer. So he applied to a college in Switzerland called Zurich Polytechnic, because did not finishing high school, they regretted to inform that they were not going to be able to accept him. But because since his math and physics scores were so high on the exam, once he finished high school he would be immediately accepted. So Einstein went back to high school in Aarau.
Our society has made excellent breakthroughs in the field of science and technology. From launching a rocket to the moon to creating the microscope. These breakthroughs began during the Scientific Revolution. The Scientific Revolution emerged towards the end of the Renaissance period and continued through the late 18th century. It marked the emergence of modern science. There were amazing scholars coming up with new philosophies during that century leading to new ideas and inventions. Many of the inventions would have not been possible if these new theories and philosophies weren’t thought of. These theories and inventions helped further our knowledge of math, physics, astronomy, biology, anatomy and chemistry.
Isaac Newton, born on January 4, 1643 in Lincolnshire, England, was always uniquely different from the people surrounding him due to his immense amount of knowledge. His knowledge empowered him, giving him motivation to finish anything he put his mind to. His education was very advanced, which allowed him to understand and dissect concepts much more successfully than others, which led to the ideas that have made him remain famous today.
The way an aircraft moves through the air can be explained by physical principles discovered over three hundred years ago by Isaac Newton. Newton worked about mathematics and physics. He came up with the theories of gravitation in 1666 when he was only 23 years old. In 1686, he told people about the three laws of motion, that he created, in the “ Principia Mathematica Philosophiae Naturalis.” They are known as Newton’s first, second, and third law.
ALBERT EINSTEIN Albert Einstein was born March 14, 1879 in Germany. His family owned a small business that manufactured electric machinery. The business failed and they left Germany. Albert was fifteen years old and he dropped out of school. When Albert was five when he received his first compass and he began to investigate the world. Little did he know that that compass would make him famous.
Albert Einstein Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm. He was raised in Munich, where his family owned a small electrical machinery shop. Though he did not even begin to speak until he was three, he showed a great curiosity of nature and even taught himself Euclidean geometry at the age of 12. Albert despised school life, thinking it dull and boring, so when his family decided to move to Milan, Italy, Einstein took the opportunity to drop out of school, only 15 at the time. After a year with his parents in Milan it became clear to him that he would have to make his own way in the world. He finished secondary school in Arrau, Switzerland, and then enrolled at the Swiss National Polytechnic in Zurich. School there was no
