As of now I have two jobs and on one I have more responsibilities so it makes me have an idea of how later on life it will be with my career.

Gender inequality with the significant wage gap for men and women is longstanding and has been acknowledged by researchers. The wage gap that is present in the United States has aroused many Americans, and even kindled several protests. The issue, occupational pay based on gender, dates back to Women’s Rights of 1848.

With the change in trend of occupations from hunting to agriculture to manufacture and finally commerce, it improved the societal position of women. Since the amount of wealth determined the authority the condition of women improved as occupational advancements happened. The status of warriors declined and with the evolving commerce, the direct producers became less inclined to go for wars because of the opportunity cost of commerce, the desire to carry

On the first boat to Jamestown there were hundred-twenty men forty-seven were Gentlemen, (Document C). Gentlemen were people that are not used to working with there hands. They also had a lot of meaningless occupations for settling an uncharted territory. There are no hunters of farmers so they would have to learn how to do that on the fly. A calling/vocation is something that brings meaning to someone’s life, its something they’re meant to do. In todays society financial standings play a huge role in how people perceive you. I think many people have focused their future careers on how much they’ll make or what people might think rather than doing what makes them happy. College is an important time in someone’s life where they’re preparing for their future job I think
I have been teaching college mathematics for 9 years, and I would love to be able to help people on a more individual level. My main focus for all of my students has always been to inspire hope and a drive to perform and succeed in whatever area of life they pursue. In my undergraduate educational studies, I have always been interested in a person’s emotional, physical, social, and behavioral development. Occupational therapy would be another aspect to further my work in these areas and to help people.
