During my junior year, I found out what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was always worried about my future because I thought I was not going to know what to do for my career. I did not realize that I have been doing what I liked for so long. At first, I wanted to become a nurse. I always liked the idea of helping people, especially children. I wanted to be a neonatal nurse or a pediatric nurse because I adore interacting with children which is why I decided to join the tutoring program to tutor first to sixth graders after school. The first day, I realized that I liked teaching and helping them and the best part was that they liked me too. Some days, they would wait for me so I could be the one to play with them and help
One thing I have a strong passion for in life is sports. My favorite one was volleyball. It taught me a lot about life and myself. My sophomore year I made varsity, but was upset when I sat the bench more than I played. However, I still pushed myself every practice and never gave up hope. This payed off because the next season I was a starter and a team captain. Being a student athlete has been an incremental part of who I have become in the future. I did not realize it at the time, but my participation in sports has affected my life in more ways than I thought. Consequently, sports have had a major influence on the career path I have chosen, and have also been a significant part of bringing my family together.
My passion is my commitment, I have wanted to be a teacher since I met my kindergarten teacher, and I am will to go above and beyond to strive to do my very best for my students and colleagues, if we don’t all work together then we have no
I hope that you are doing well and thank you for agreeing to be my mentor. I am writing in regards to a project I’m doing for my English 2 Honors class. This project is called the Passion Project. For this project, we spent a year learning about a topic that interests us or something that we are passionate about. At the end of the year, we demonstrate the outcome of our project by presenting it to our peers.
Every single person on this earth has a passion. No, I am not talking about fruit. I am talking about is something that can put a person on top of the world or put a 40 ton wrench right in the center of a person’s gut. Passion. Comparable to a lot of guys in this world my passion is sports. Michigan State University athletics. Consequently, when a sports beat writer imposed that my team... my team 's defense was not “good” enough to compete at the highest collegiate level at the college football playoffs. Well, I just had to tell him why he was wrong.
I have always enjoyed being involved in school activities. By the end of my high school career, I will have played volleyball and golf all four years. Although I was never the superstar or the best on the team for either sport, I always enjoyed playing and being supportive of my teammates. Getting involved with a team and making new friends has been half the fun. Not only do I play sports, but I also enjoy attending other sporting events. My favorite two sports to watch are football and basketball. While in third grade, I cheered on the 2004 Indian football team to a victory during the State game at Camp Randall. In 2012, I supported both the girls’ and boys’ basketball
Since a very young age, I have been involved in community service and extracurricular activities. I started playing sports at the age of three, beginning with gymnastics. Soon after, I joined many other sports teams, including, dance, soccer, and softball. In middle school and throughout high school, I ran track and cross country and continued playing soccer. Senior year of high school,

I have an avid interest in sports although I am mainly interested in two. I have played Gaelic football for Newry Mitchels G.F.C from I was 9 years old. Although I have not experienced much success I have made many friends and learned a lot about teamwork and self-discipline. I also play Basketball for my school team. This has proved rewarding as we won the All-Ireland schools Basketball league last year. We trained very hard for this and it taught us that those who work hard are rewarded eventually
I play many sports, the sports I play are basketball, baseball, football, and track. I go outside a lot, almost everyday. My favorite thing to do outside is play basketball in my driveway and play with siblings. My career goals after I graduate is to either have a job in engineering or be involved in a sports related job.
motocross. Motocross is an individual sport that requires a lot of training. To be a
Back in first through third grade, my favorite subject was spelling because phonics came naturally to me. However, I enjoyed all the subjects. I adored reading, and usually read at a more difficult level than the other students my age. My favorite book series back then was Junie B. Jones, and eventually I ended up reading the whole series. I related to Junie B. Jones because she was odd and sassy, two characteristics I developed during my early years. Unlike most students my age, math was simple for me to understand. I loved numbers, and math problems just resembled fun puzzles in my eager eyes.
My passion is singing. I am in concert choir, and I take lessons. I also love attending concerts. For instance, I will be seeing Marina And The Diamonds in October, and Halsey in November.
Passion is defined as a strong and barely controllable emotion. Therefore to be passionate about something means that you have completely immersed yourself in that idea or activity. When I talk about volleyball, passion is one of the many words that comes to mind. Volleyball was a significant part of my life, and the closing of that chapter was extremely painful. A huge reason for this, was the fact that I never truly accomplished all that I had envisioned for myself in that area. With that being said, the lack of finality in that aspect has been taxing but ultimately enlightening. Volleyball taught me not only how to be physically strong but mentally aswell, the loss of volleyball enabled me to use that strength and essentially rediscover
My passion is to not only teach students in a creative and positive way that they are actually learning but also to inspire them to learn and make something great of themselves in their future. The reason being when I was younger I did not take my education that serious. If I would have known then how serious an education was, I feel that I could have accomplished more in middle and high school. After school I wouldn't care about actually learning about my homework. For this reason I want to inspire kids to want to learn at a young age and for them to see that their education and work ethic is very important even at their age. Most importantly I want my future students to want to learn.
