The issue in the philosophy of perception is explaining how perception could give someone either knowledge or a justified belief about the world. We recognize this reality to be something which we cannot change in any way. However, it can not be said about the perception of reality being completely true. The strange thing of all this is that reality may not actually exist. The reason we all think in one reality is that we only see our central point of the story. Just because someone sees something in a specific way does not make it so. This problem has been viewed in terms of a skeptical argument that appears to show that such knowledge and premise are impossible. Plato has also inquired about our perception. He states that there are two kinds of perception: sensory perception and spiritual perception. Sensory perception is the world of aspect, in which we perceive, with the support of our sensory organs. For this reason, the world is the world of illusion. It is the world of “shadows” so in Plato’s view, it is the world of falsification. The reality or truth is impossible to perceive through our senses. This extensive metaphor symbolizes how we humans have the ability to seek for philosophical knowledge or the light, but one will never experience the Truth, the sun, for the reason that it is what causes blindness for possessing too much knowledge. Although, experiencing the Truth can be achieved through spiritual perception, which is divine understanding. Spiritual enlightenment is unique for each individual, but there are some recognizable signs. First, one stops both suffering and struggling, which are also products of the mind. You will actually have trouble relating to how you used to manage to suffer, and emotions become valued messengers rather than problems. Spiritual perception can be possible when we reject the world of sensory perception, so until and unless we break all the material chains, we will not have spiritual perception. It is the exemplary philosophy of Plato and his spiritual perception as an ideal
