My husband and I had a same car problem for the last two month. Problem started with an engine light. After compering different review from different dealers online, my husband decided to take our car to the dealer in Rockland County even though its 24.9 miles from our house and we have to pay a $5 toll, but they have good reviews (so we though). We paid for diagnostics; they fixed something that we paid for. After that, my husband had to go to the dealer at least twice a week since the engine light was still on. We even bought a code reader, to make sure that we are on the same page. When nothing seemed working Tony at the Rockland dealer told us that we probably filled our car with a dirty oil, and he advise us to try to filled the
Usually as a sophomore in high school we experience one of the most exciting things, driving. The minute one turns fifteen and a half we race to the DMV, take the test, and get our temporary licence. This is where we spend the next half a year in a car with our parents, practicing and being told everything to do and not to do.
I can remember how excited I was when I bought my very own first car. I spent hours and hours fixing up my car exactly how I wanted it. I waited a very long time to buy my own car. I worked for hours and hours, saving money to buy a good running car. I did not want to buy a cheap car. I wanted to buy one I know would last and didn’t have anything more than minor mechanical problems, if any. I knew if I bought one of the streets it was bound to come with something needing to be repaired or replaced. Having proper maintenance done to the car was also my way of guaranteeing my car would at least run okay for a little while. My first car was a 2002 Hyundai Sonata featured with 19’ black rims, with clean interior and dark tinted windows. The sound system was in great condition and for it to be stock, had a really nice bang to it. I absolutely loved my car, It felt so nice and I
During our first run Taylor and I noticed that the car was turning way to the left. So in order to fix this we started our car as far to the right of the track as possible. After our first trials we realized that we needed to fix our string. We needed to cut the string we had attached off of our car and make a new one. When we made a new one me made it a little bit longer than the car and only hot glued it to the hook, not to the frame. Our new string had a loop in the end of it so we could put that on the toothpick. So now we understood that the toothpick did have a real purpose and we couldn’t glue the string to the mousetrap. After we made these changes we ran our car three more times.
“Were that the cars that rushed into the smoke? Did they got lost while driving? How they caught fire so fast? Did everyone survive?” I thought at that moment. Tried to find the answer but too afraid to ask them.
You may think that my life was going to be like the average guy. The one who gets a job, becomes successful, gets married and has children. Well not this guy. It all started the summer of 2013 when i was in and out of jobs. I was on the verge of getting kicked out of my parents house, mind you I've been living there since birth. I could barely pay my car insurance and my car note in which I had none. That is an insinuation of how broke I was. The traffic tickets where piled up as far as the eye could see. I was in and out of a horrible yet somehow gratifying relationship with a pregnant lady who claimed that even me taking the slightest of breath is and was wrong in her eyes.
One of the most important events that happened in my life was just recently, and that was buying my second car. This thought process was in the making for quite a while, considering that I was getting tired of taking my silver Hyundai Elantra in the garage every four months for repairs. For that reason, it made sense that it was time for a new car or a used one, I did not care which all I cared about was that it had to be a manual transmission. In addition, the fact that I outright hate going car shopping, I put it off and off until this past January. Since my mom had surgery that month, she was home and could go car shopping for me, well searching on the computer shopping. Since she was doing that, I did not have to worry about it and she knew what I wanted for a car.
In conclusion, my 1st car was a bust traveling 9.8 cm/s, my 2nd car did pretty well traveling 35.86 cm/s, but wasn’t built very well and lastly my 3rd car was the most successful, traveling 50.16 cm/s. Over the time that I worked on this project my skills really did advance. In the beginning, I was clueless and now, with the materials, I could make another car in a day. I learned a lot from trial and error.
At sixteen, I received my first job, and by the age of seventeen, I purchased my first car. While the car was only worth about $200.00, I gave the seller $1200.00. Along with overpaying, the car did not have a title of ownership. When I first purchased this car, I had the understanding with the seller that the vehicle had a salvage title, but only a bill of sell was given with the car. However, this was still not my worst experience with this automobile. From the inside to the outside, to under the hood, and even on paper, this car was an illegally procured nightmare.
The roar of the engine, the wind in your hair these represent the freedom of owning your first car. I learned how to drive in our cow pasture when I was only ten years old, and after that I dreamed of the day that I would have my very own car. I was so excited to get and drive my own car, little did I know that my dream would come crashing down.
I broke my arm at a birthday party, let me explain! So, first Mom and I went in my Mom's car to leave, we go and were lost. We stop to figure out where to go. We figure out where to go and were on our merry ways!
In my heart, I knew it couldn’t be true, but they all said she was dead. I was at her funeral and everyone told me to move on, but I couldn’t. It didn’t feel right.
In 1992, I graduated from high school. After graduation, I had a conversation with my dad concerning HIS truck. He mentioned that HIS truck was off limit and I need to buy a vehicle if I want to drive. He expounded on the concept that I need to step up, take responsibility and earn an honest living. I worked during the summer and later purchased l a 1980 Oldsmobile from a retired couple. I really like that car however; it needed a ton of work. My dad volunteered to help fix all repairs. His teaching methods was yelling and telling me too move out of the way youngster. Twenty years later, my sister’s son asked for help to repair his car. I thought about my dad’s method and how could I improve and also build a closer relationship. I immediately
In life we go through many changes and for that instance it is the same situation with my car. During the 1 year that I had my car many things stayed the same, however some changes have been made. Some of the changes were major and some were minor. I take a really good care of my car and throughout my experience with my car I think it looks really good. I have spent a lot of money on it but it was worth it. This is my project car so there is a lot of progress already done to the way I want it to look and perform, but still far away from being fully done.
Children are constantly asking their parents for what they need. In reality, they are asking for something they only want. As the children start to mature and become older, they will start asking for more realistic things. I know I am only thirteen, turning fourteen, but this is something we can all start saving up for. I am asking for a car, and I would love for it to be a light blue Volkswagen. It may have seemed expensive at first, but there are still a couple of years until I will be able to drive. For a while, I have been researching the cost of this car. The cost ranges from about $8,500 to $23,000.
Teagan shouted “GUYS!! Coach Cole told us if we were late we were going to have to run suicides!!” A look of panic was spreading among our four faces. Not running, anything except running.
