This article discusses how Republican State Rep. Larry Metz and the State of Florida want to eliminate required Physical Education class. The main point of the article, is that Metz wants local school districts to decide if students receive Physical Education class. The first point, explains how Schools are having a hard time accommodating Physical Education classes in their time and budget. The article second point explains why the pediatricians and The American heart Association are against this law. This article offers positive and negative points of view regarding Physical Education. I will be using this article to support my overall thesis.

In his first point Charlotte Kelso explains how we need to change the physical condition of both adults and children; and how children are being raise on fast food because is quick and easy. On his second point he is expressing that cross-curricular activities are a great way to incorporate P.E with other classes; P.E should reflect the age group that is being used for. Finally, he goes on to saying that we need to encourage students to make better choices, and how it is important that all activities should be fun and interactive; if well plan and implemented P.E helps students in many areas.
