Primary Job Purpose I believe I am a great candidate for this position in regards to the Primary Job Purpose. Having recently finished a Masters Degree, I am keen to develop further and provide support in the sport science and strength and conditioning research areas. Throughout my studies, I gained practical coaching experience in the gym and on the field through volunteering and work experience. These voluntary positions led to opportunities and as a result I have since have had experience coaching various athletes ranging from adolescents to adults in high performance and development settings. I believe great strength and conditioning coaches remain up to date and/or contribute to current and relevant research, combining this with practical
During the course of my life I have had many jobs. I have delivered nine hundred pound copiers to seven different states. I have moved people into amazing million dollar homes. I have even been a manager at a restaurant, but the best and most meaningful job was working at the Ecology Center at Camp Buck Toms, a Boy Scout camp.
It is the development of the physical and physiological needs of an athlete to reach their peak performance levels, in their specific sport. Strength and conditioning coaches mainly work with athletes because their sport is specific and not work with people just trying to improve their fitness levels. Athletes need a strength and conditioning coach to create a specific programme for them. This needs to include the main athlete’s needs, focus on the time since their previous trainings, their skill development and when a competition/match is approaching. This coach will know exactly how to train the specifics and deal with energy to increase the performance levels of the athlete. The main aim of strength and conditioning is to increase the athlete’s strength power and speed
Title VII of the 1964 civil rights act prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex and national origin. Contrary to title VII, gender and religion under the bona fide occupational qualification allows discrimination for certain jobs that calls for a particular group, age limit etc. An example of a company using bona fide occupational qualification in the United States Military. Every day bona fide occupational qualification is used in the United States military to decline thousands of applicants daily because of their age. The age limit for joining the navy is 34 for active duty and 39 for applicants attempting to join the reserves. Because of the physical demand of basic training and the life of military personnel, the navy set 34 as their minimum age where they
Everyday when I walk into work, I put on my pale blue shirt, the one that my coworkers and I constantly complain about, with pride and with a coffee in my hand. I know I have eight long hours ahead of me, and my feet will hurt by the end of the day from the constant walking back and forth, and there is a chance I make some person incredibly upset. Regardless of being cognizant of issues that may arise, I am incredibly content at work, and especially optimistic that I will assist at least someone (even if it is just unfortunately informing them we can only provide resources, rather than assisting). Whenever someone asks what exactly my work is I say, as I was taught, “it is the domestic version of the Peace Corps, and I’m also only in a courthouse.” This does not help many people understand my job requirement, as they just imagine me helping the prosecution, but what I do helps a lot more people than assisting a prosecutor.
Title VII states that an employee cannot be treated differently because of sex unless sex is a bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ). When used as a defense, bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ) allows an organization to hire and employ individuals on the basis of the qualifications reasonably necessary to the normal operation of that particular business or enterprise. This paper will discuss the necessary steps employers must take in order to justify using sex as a discriminator when hiring employees and review some known cases where BFOQ was used as a defense.

As I am trying find my place in this world where society is constantly changing its image of the ideal hardworking employee, I fear I am not what most businesses precisely want representing them. I have the appearance of a blonde-haired, blue eyed girl, and society often treats me as the weak-link. People assume that I do not have the capability of success, for I am a woman from a small town. Male domination in the career force is an aspect of my future that worries me the most. Men still occupy many positions of power; however, I want to change that. I have proved myself in high school, but I need to prove myself in college. I have been a female leader, and my goal is to be successful with it.

I'm a bartender and I'm good at my job. I live behind a bar, preparing some of the best cocktails in Kansas City. This is expected and unexceptional since I've been in the service industry since I was fifteen years old, which makes it about seventeen years now, seeing how I'm thirty two: a food and drink slinging veteran by any definition. The only problem is I absolutely hate my job, I hate it in a way that demanded a reevaluation, it demanded an all encompassing change. I never intended to make a career out of the service industry, but before I knew it more than a decade had passed.
Sport coaches have an essential role to play in both sport and youth development. They are respected within their professional environment and are seen as having a good all round knowledge of a variety of sports and are able to bring out the best in the people they work with. In order to enhance both their performance and delivery, coaches need positive experiences to motivate and encourage them to reach their full potential, achieve positive results and become successful (Sports Coach UK (2005).

My process for choosing the top two resumes featured a series of steps to eliminate people in groups until I had a shorter list to choose from. First, I eliminated any resumes that were turned in late. Deadlines are extremely important when turning in a resume to an employer and I did not believe it was fair to look at a resume that were turned in late when others had been turned in on time. Next, I went through the resumes based on their educational information. I looked at where the candidate placed their information, if they listed their GPA, and if they were part of the Honors College as well as if they were involved on campus in any way outside their coursework. To me, GPA and school involvement were good indicators of how well

A resume a short, simple document that highlights an individual's experience, qualifications, skills education and certifications in hopes of finding a job and is usually limited to one, maybe two pages. (WiseGEEK, n.d.) Some employers ask for a resume, other employers ask for what is called a Curriculum Vitae, often shorted to CV. Some employers use the term interchangeably. The CV includes all life accomplishments, in chronological order regardless of the relevance to the job duties. In the academic community, a CVs is the most common and can ran several pages long and is often requested for graduate and professional schools like PHD programs. (Simpson, n.d.)
