Strengths: Andrew greets the client in a polite and a professional tone. great job offering the client empathy for any trouble she had getting the message of the information needed. Inches: Conference call- There were opportunities in the call to reach out to the client on the file to get authorization for the client to get his spouse OK to Speak with to address her concerns. Alternatively, we could transfer the spouse to the point of contact to assist the client regarding the message. CCS has spoken with WIFE before ( look in LJN). Ownership- Andrew did not possess a Yes before No attitude while assisting the client. There was no solution given in the call to assist the client with her concerns. Moving forward in these instances, we
Following up on my last field journal, I have successfully terminated the relationships with my clients at the agency. As I anticipated, I did not have any issues during this process. I am both surprised and not at the same time at the range of emotions I feel about leaving and terminating. I am truly a bit sad that I will not be working with my long-term clients anymore. Overall, I am mostly excited to have some time off and develop professionally in other ways.
Felicia Allen is a 32 year old woman, who was initially brought into therapy after an attempt to steal a bus. Due to her reported “emotionally disturbed” nature, this consult became a priority. The police report states that Ms. Allen pulled out a knife, and threatened the driver after the driver declined her dollar bills. She then took control of the bus, and crashed it across the street. Upon our meeting, Ms. Allen was fidgety, and swayed back and forth all the while mumbling to herself. If she were questioned, she would look up and say “Sorry, sorry.” As far as patient history goes, Ms. Allen started hearing voices when she was 5 years old. These auditory hallucinations were mostly composed of critical, disparaging voices that made comments on her actions and behaviors. Her severe symptoms led her to be hospitalized fairly consistently since she was 11. Ever since she was young, she has been driven to please, and has a strong desire to be independent. Felicia has been prescribed clozapine for 1 calendar year, which helped her auditory hallucinations a great deal. Given the above symptoms and information, I have diagnosed Felicia Allen with schizophrenia.
There are a lot of crimes happening around the world. There are some that are solved and the rest is still unresolved as of present times. This is the very reason why people result to getting private investigators, to get the right information for them. They should be able to get the details that are needed to solve the cases that are not resolved. We should also know the credentials of the investigators and the company. They should be licensed by the government above all.
This study includes the results from the three participants, Mathew, Mark and Luke. The figures will be represented by the X- axis, which will show the sessions, and the Y-axis, which will display the number of times the participant engaged in the vocal stereotypy during the sessions. All data from the IOA agreement was calculated for 25% of each participant and will be included within the recoding. The ESE teacher was the second observer and was trained in all aspects of the study to assist with procedural fidelity. Social validity was taken into consideration by the results rendered from the parent’s observation and recordings.
After learning more about the Pygmalion effect, it typically discusses how individuals often children or students may turn to live up to what’s expected of them, in which they perform better when someone sets high expectations for them. The Pygmalion effect was also called the Rosenthal effect based on the classic experiment by Rosenthal and Jacobson. During their experiment during the beginning of the school year, Rosenthal and Jacobson told the teachers that this test was to predict which students would bloom intellectually during the academic year. Both Rosenthal and Jacobson deceived the other teachers by telling them that the most intellect students have been tested by a new methodology which determines
I would suggest to my friend to get support from a cognitive behavioral therapist. CBT would the best fit for this friend because, this type of therapy focuses on both the behavior and thought processes regarding and influencing this behavior. CBT is also supported through research to be the most effective treatment for depression. The biggest factor for choosing CBT as a recommendation is that my friend is having suicidal thoughts, and with CBT those would get addressed immediately before starting a treatment plan. The treatment would not actually start until the therapist would know that she would be safe from harm. The treatment plan may involve her changing her cognitive processes thus changing her maladaptive behaviors. Along with changing
Sandy, I enjoyed reading through your response and I agreed with many the important principles you were able to glean from the chapters. It was valuable for the Brice family to be to have the choice to continue therapy. The family was given the independence to choose to continue or discontinue the therapy. Your second observation regarding Napier and Whitaker’s thoughts on how couples aid each other in poor behavior was another concepts I found to be interesting as well. One of the main points I was able to glean from the chapter was that an individual may choose someone who they sense, unconsciously, the potential for a crisis which will force the individual to face their own central fears. The concept of choose a mate based off an unconscious

The process evaluation activities that were incorporation to this implementation process were a verbal quiz pre/post test, answering anonymous questions, and re going over the quiz at the end. While some of the objectives were achieved and others were not due to the fact we only held this class once and won’t be able to follow up.
Long call: I didn’t mark the call for transfer expectation per I felt the client had already provided the assigned team member’s (William’s) extension when requesting to speak to Marilyn. It wasn’t necessary to provide the information as I felt it would have disturb the natural flow of the call. Additionally , she fulfilled the client’s request as it relates to what she foreshadowed before the transfer. I think the explanation of the OOO process was fulfilled when Erika informs the client she will reach out to Marilyn which is covering for William or someone from their team per she returned from hold with someone from their team. I think she did a good job of owning the call by deviating from regular protocol as this allowed for a natural
Terrance came to our meeting today. We worked on his checklist, and mainly focused on the assignments and evaluations that Terrance needs to work on for PSYC 307. In PSYC 307, Terrance needs to take his Quiz # 12; this quiz is available until today (Monday) before midnight. Terrance also needs to work on his Assignment # 2, which his instructor gave a chance for improvement. We checked the D2L site for this class and printed the Study Guide to prepare for his final exam for the class.
Building rapport with the client- The client mentioned that he is referring his son, we should take the time to personalize our response and acknowledge this by showing our appreciation for the referral. ( We appreciate your referral.)
He commented that while Dennis Froemke was employed that he was an “out of the box” thinker, but this often clashed with policy. Jeff, as state specialist is responsible for quality and training often disagreed with Dennis, but never observed any unprofessional behavior by Jeff.
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed speaking with you on Tuesday morning. I found our conversation about gaining the trust of the employees in the company that you are consulting for to be especially interesting.
Concluding the email- When we are concluding the email, we should be sure to end politely to wish the client well in their day. This demonstrates our appreciation for their time and contact. “Thank you for your time,” “have a nice
