Therapeutic recreation has a variety of benefits that vary for many age groups. There is outdoor therapeutic recreation for young children who have down syndrome, an example would be swimming, as this is quite beneficial not only to the young age group, but to the older age group as well. This is because an individual from lower socioeconomic status faces significant financial barriers while accessing leisure (Scott, 2013). My favorite model of Therapeutic Recreation is the Health Protection/Health Promotion Model because it focuses on enhancing the health and overall well-being of clients. Educating clients on the importance of this model will enable patients to have a better understanding of the topic. When clients are healthy, they interact with the recreational therapist and suggest activities that are intrinsically motivating for their psyche. Clients who are in poor health will be subjected to prescriptive activities by the recreational therapist to assist with their recovery and to achieve optimal health.

Everyone in society partakes in leisure. Leisure may be in the form of watching TV, gardening, fishing or playing a sport. The reasoning behind leisure participation also varies, individuals may partake in leisure for health benefits, because of their friends are or simply, because they enjoy the activity. It is important for leisure practitioners too not only understand the health benefits leisure provides an individual, but to also understand what motivates individuals to partake in leisure and what types of barriers and constraints they may have to overcome for successful leisure participation to occur. For the purpose of this essay the concepts extrinsic and intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy and learned helplessness will be explored.

Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is a tool that is used to define the work elements of a project and identify its entire scope. It is the map of the project which identifies all elements of the project and allows managers to keep track and control of it. It is made of a hierarchy which facilitates the evaluation of cost, time and performance at all levels of the project life-cycle and organization. The structure illustrates the smaller units and allows for adaptation and quick communication if there a problems which need to be addressed. Offer incentives for employees to join programs and do well. 5. Other features as they are suggested by our employees and health insurance providers, if they add value to our business.
