The Russian Revolution was a revolution in Russia in the years 1917-1918. During the revolution, Russians brought the Bolsheviks to power and got rid of the czar. The Russian people were better off before the Russian Revolution. Reasons behind the revolution were because their was a lot more famine, some agricultural production decreased, and Stalin caused numerous “purges” to happen. A cause of the Russian Revolution was famine. Famine is a shortage of food. So, after the revolution occurred there seemed to be a bigger amount of people starving.
