Sugar Sweet is a confectionery business. The aim of the business name is to attract customers with a memory-provoking, succinct and simple name which gives a glimpse of the products the business provides. The use of the words ‘sugar’ and ‘sweet’ next to each other creates an alliterative ‘s’ tone which is soft and ‘sweet’ (mirroring part of the business name). The words individually are associated with satisfaction and bliss, but when combined, evokes pleasant memories of enjoying confectionery. The use of two short, alliterative words forms a desire to re-experience the contentment of eating sweets in customers’ minds, resulting in the purchase of the business’ products.

Despite the advantages, having a partnership has the risk of causing disagreements and hostility among partners, as there is no authority in the business as power is equally distributed between partners.
