Chapter Sumamries
Chapter 1:
Australia after the last days is brutal, lawless world where only the most ruthless survive. Ben is a teenage boy who has the ability to communicate with animals using the call. He is also a prisoner of Greg, an older boy who forces Ben to use his talent to lure animals, which Greg then kills for food. Ben dreams of a different life and the peace of his childhood home on the southern beaches of Sydney. He escapes from Greg one rainy might, in search of this dream.
Chapter 2:

Chapter 15:
Ben and Ellie plan to free the animals and leave Taronga. Raja watches Ben with curiosity, sensing that he has changed. Ben is afraid for the fate of the animals but Ellie tells them they will have a better chance outside of the zoo than at the hands of Molly. The first of the animals are released.
Chapter 16:
Chas’s gang attacks as Ben and Ellie free the animals. Raja is confused when Ben calls him to leave the zoo. Ben wants to warn the other gang members but it is too late, Chas and Molly’s gangs are determined to fight to the death. Realising that he has been tricked, Chas tries to kill Ben, but Raja stops him. Molly shoots Chas before dying.
Chapter 17:
Ben and Ellie take refuge in an abandoned apartment block. When Ben has second thoughts about realising the zoo animals into the wild, Ellie reassures him that it was necessary for a new beginning. As they both make plans to leave the city and head for the bush, Raja makes a final appearance. Ben is convinced that Raja is going to kill him, but instead he pats him affectionately on the
Mr. Jones, the farmer, goes to sleep drunk one night when the most respected animal calls a meeting. Major, as the pig is called, waits until everyone is settled to begin describing the gist of the dream he had had the night before. He tells them that their lives are much harder than they need be. The only reason why they aren’t happy is that they must deal with humans. He says humans are useless and profit off everyone else’s hard work. Unless they rebel, their lives and those of their children will never get better. The group decides that all four-legged or winged animals are friends and will not be harmed when they eventually rebel. Begins with a comforting scene of Ben with his parents. The dreamy filter the scene is given makes it seem like a dream and/or a flashback. Initially, Ben was excited to have a sister and pleased as he says to his Mum, "I can't wait for the baby to come then we're gonna be best friends, aren't we?" In chapter thirteen, Walt and Eric make it to Shamattaawa. When they get there, they are so relieved because they thought they were lost which would be terrifying because there would be no way to get out. Eric and Walt started becoming annoyed by every little thing, which causes them to blame each other. It only gets worse as things get tougher and tougher. Finally, things got to the breaking point and Eric and Walt snapped and started fighting. I understand why they started fighting because they are stressed out from worrying about being on the right track and being cold. I would be very irritated if I was in that position also. I am surprised they never fought from the beginning of the trip. That shows they work well together and can work
John and Lorraine realize that they cannot blame anyone else for their lives. The monkeys at the zoo show a symbol of a cage like it says here,´´They build their own cages, we could almost hear the Pigman whisper as he took his children with him´´(Zindel,149). John learns that he cannot build his own cage. Although John feels stuck by his father wanting him to a businessman like himself, he has to take responsibility for himself. He has moved from a young troublesome, careless child to a mature young man.
PER REPORTER: On 7/16/2015 the children were in the care of Tawanda’s boyfriend. The reporter said Tawanda is gone in the streets. While in the care of the boyfriend Donte left on his own walking from Canton to Gluckstadt. The reporter also said that Tawanda’s boyfriend was touch in the two girls on last week. He touched them on their private and booty. It is unknown if the children were penetrated. The reporter said that Tawanda was gone in the streets again. However, she was told about the boyfriend touching the girls, but she didn’t believe it.
Situation: Quentin is with Margo and they are trying to call Radar but he wasn’t the one who Quentin was looking for. Then Quentin knew that calling Ben would work and he calls Ben and he picks up the phone after calling him five times.
When Ben’s mother is still alive, they both get chased by wolves. By the wolves chasing Ben, he has always wondered about them (Selznick 17). When Ben arrives in New york, he goes to the museum and sees a display with the wolves that chased him. Buy Ben seeing these wolves in a closed and confined area, all his questions are solved. By Ben seeing the wolves again his curiosity gets satisfied and understands the wolves better.
Ben Garvey, a reformed criminal, loses his job because of his criminal background. His brother Ricky comes to visit after being released from jail and convinces him to commit a robbery of gold dust from a laboratory. The heist goes horribly wrong, and Ricky and two others are killed. Sentenced to death, Ben gets a visit from his wife and daughter; Ben tells his daughter that he's not coming back. He then goes and prepares himself for the lethal injection. Ben is presumably put to death, but is next shown hitching a ride from an unknown man who asks if he's the new groundskeeper of a nearby psychiatric hospital in a small Oregon town. Ben is told that he has been given a second chance from God and to begin work as a groundskeeper at the local
Ben - He is the main character, he is also the one telling the story about what happened to his family and Zan. At the beginning of the story, Ben didn’t want or like Zan. He thought he would take up too much of his time and be annoying. As the story progressed, he began to like Zan and they continued bonding together and eventually became best friends. As the story ended, Ben became the kind, loving person that got to keep and protect Zan.
Ellie finds a poacher trapped in his own snare. To Ellie’s horror, the mother tiger and her cubs attack, eating the man alive. Conflicted, Ellie thinks of killing the tiger cubs, but she changes her mind.
Tommy’s little brother loved animals and his favorite place to go was the local zoo. Today was Arthur’s birthday and Tommy decided to give him the greatest gift ever. He decided that he would accompany him to the zoo. Arthur was ecstatic! It was a beautiful and sunny day, which was convenient for this outdoor expedition that they were about to embark upon. It was an adventure that they would never forget.
Ben now faces a decision that could alter his life forever. He lives comfortably with his family in Buenos Aires, however
Spring was Oikawa's favorite season. The smell of fresh air and the light touch of flowers, mixing together into a palette of sounds and sights. Cherry blossoms blooming after a harsh winter, and Oikawa remembers how much he missed the way they bloomed and fell onto the ground. Cherry blossoms were of an enchanting color, pink and light and melodic. Oikawa loved the cinematic scenes that came with spring, and especially loved the rain. Oikawa loved the way rain would sound on his window, rhythmically and full of voice. He loves the smell of rain and the feeling on his skin, washing away his thoughts and keeping his sadness at bay, at least for a while.
Gradually, Ben overall becomes sensitive to the environment. The sadness has overwhelmed him and left him a primitive form. He becomes impaired in the way that he relies on a caretaker and is unable to recapture the memories of himself after he’s gone. Once Ben becomes missing, people don’t search for him but instead call to ask where he has been. After about a week everyone in his life ceases to call or look. Annie is the only one to evoke the memories of Ben, the disabled man who became primitive
