These chapters were very insightful. I had learned some of these techniques earlier in my previous classes, but this give me a more in depth look at the various aspects of decisions making. The area on control was more newer to me as we didn 't discuss it thoroughly in class. I only have knowledge of the main aspects of control.
Quiz 12 December The quiz was fairly easy, but I did struggle with question 6 for some unknown reason. It was a very simple question, and I don 't know why I struggled so much with it.
Peer Assessment 12 December I was able to complete all of the peer assessments. As usual I did my best to grade fair and unbiased in order to ensure the proper grading for each student. I was caught off guard because I was so used to just assessing three papers, but it 's okay.
Discussion Forum 14 December On this day I decided to use the Coca-Cola company as my main corporation facing environmental challenges. The next stage is a stage of providing the actual change actions. Here, the company has chosen a new CEO and President, Douglas Daft, who was an opposite of Ivestor. Daft was a delegator, who wanted to turn Coca-Cola to a most desired company by employees in the world. He also saw a company as a head of the class, when speaking about diversity of workforce and business. Daft was fast in his actions. He has put Ware on the position of Vice-President for Global Public Affairs, as he was concerned about diversity issues in the company as well. They applied Ware’s suggestions about supporting the diversity from the top-executives and tying compensation increases to the achievement of diversity goals. On this stage, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia approved the Settlement Agreement, which was used to non-hourly U.S.-based workers of the company, excluding its bottlers and called for pay-back to employees, future pay equity and equal employment opportunity. Task Force was created to provide an independent supervision of company’s compliance and was reporting on implementation of these programs. On this stage, Coca-Cola learned a lot about its past mistakes and provided dozens of changes to its policies and procedures. As it is not possible to change a whole organization in a short-time period, Coca-Cola was implementing changes during the next decade after a lawsuit and even created a document, called “Manifesto of

The factor that has emerged from the toxin debate is the need for government to address lacking standards governing the quality of water that is used for soft drinks. This first week's reading was rather surprisingly difficult to read. The concepts were straight forward, however, I found the presentation and examples a bit laborious to follow. As suggested, I will probably supplement my reading with a few external sources to improve my understanding. Interpreting the questions also cause a bit of confusion. Once I figured out what they were asking, the solutions where straightforward. This issue will probably resolve itself as a come to better the style of the author, and his approach to formatting the questions.

Coca Cola one of the most successful soda companies in the world went under attack by pranksters. In 2014, Coca Cola introduced a new slogan called “You’re on diet Coke” for their diet Coke soda. This slogan was a mistake for Coca Cola to make because when they first created their soda back in 1886, it contained cocaine as one of the ingredients, which was common back in the 19th century. The diet Coke ad started a lot of parody ads that Coke Cola wasn’t ready for. One of the first people who started the parodies was a blog named Animal. Animal modified the ad that Coca Cola made right after it was released to make fun of the Diet Coke ad. Many parodies were created like the TV commercial parody of the Diet Coke, but Animal’s was the most noticeable and shared ad over social media sites. When Coca Cola saw that the parodies are beginning to spread quickly all of over social media, Coca Cola released a statement saying that they don’t use illegal substances in any of their products. Then after the statement, they discontinued the slogan. Coca Cola didn’t intend at first to make such an ad to promote the use of cocaine, but they should’ve known that it will create this kind of reaction.
