There are many contributions that lead to the Civil War. The main contribution is the tension between the North and South. The North and South had so many unresolved problems that it grew so much tension into the country, hence uprising the Civil War. Some of those factors are, Constitutional, and Economic disagreements. What caused the Civil War was the differences between the North and South. There were many different reasons why the Civil War happened. One of them was economic differences. The northern side of the United States is known for their many immigrants, industries, and large buildings and companies. The South was known for agriculture, slaves, and cotton. The Northern side was against slavery, but the southern states were pro-slaves. It was understandable that the north was against it, because they didn’t need the slaves, …show more content…

The South however, relied on cotton and plantations for their income; therefore they choose to have slaves as a part of their lifestyle. With the differences between each lifestyle they began to have tension between the country. To find a compromise in the country, the government decided to split the states between the north and south; northern states being free slave states, and southern being pro slaves states. So if they were going to ever add a new state, one would be pro-slaves and another no slaves. Even with the compromise there was just so many differences to be put aside and the disputes began. One of the many causes of the Civil War was Constitutional disagreements. When the Constitution was established, it also included twenty seven amendments also arose with it.
