College Is More Challenging Than High School

Many students realize college is different from high school; therefore, students must consider and think college as their important and serious education. The academics in college are more challenging than those in high school. Students should consider to set and reach the goals in order to make a progress toward them. To survive in college life, students should not only focus on academic development but also focus on personal development as well. Personal developments such as having time-management, learning diversity, and connecting with college members and campus resources are benefits that will help strive for success in college. The time-management is one of the important strategies that students will have the ability to manage the time because this will not make them delay on their academic assignments. There are three high- thinking skills based on time-management that will solve the problem of managing time, such as analysis, evaluation, and synthesis, based on Bloom’s Taxonomy. To define “analysis”, it is the method of breaking down the ideas to work together and see how much of it students have and what they are spending it on (Cuseo, Thompson, Campagna, and Fecas, 2016). The example of analysis would be organizing or seeing the patterns of their tasks on the portable planner that students have on daily basis.
