Psychology is the mental characteristics or attitude of a person or group. It is stimulated by the mental and emotional factors governing any situation encountered in our daily lives. Through vast research, this term has also come to encompass fetuses. Until just a relatively short while ago , a fetus was considered to be an unconscious being. Today, thanks to advances in technology, such as sonograms, and fiber optics ,we have been able to see and study babies inside their mom’s womb. Recent studies that are concerned with human behavior, shows that from the first weeks of gestation , a baby perceives vibrations. Different kinds of music influence the mental and emotional state of a human being, touching their deepest sentiments. It tends to increase their compassion and internal harmony, in turn creating an openness to emotions, tranquility, and above all a kind heart . “With unborn babies, hearing starts to develop on the 22nd day of gestation and the ear matures during the fifth month” (Anson & Donaldson, 1973). “By the twentieth week, the hearing mechanism is structurally comparable with that of an adult” (Eisenberg,1969).
