Theme of the Month C. Padmore discussed “Teamwork” was discussed amongst staff. Staff was given a handout on “Teamwork” Staff also offered up a few examples of teamwork. Cell Phones Staff continues to use their cell phone at front-desk although C. Padmore has discussed this on numerous occasions. C. Padmore also discussed wearing air piece while on duty. Staff was asked to refrain from wearing air piece while they are on duty. Sleeping while on Duty C. Padmore reminded staff about the agency policy on sleeping or dozing off while on duty. C. Padmore informed staff that they will receive a corrective action or can be separated from the agency for sleeping or dozing off while on duty. C. Padmore asked staff to be mindful about their personal leave bank. US Security We will no longer use US security because we are fully staffed. Only PD can approve this. Schedule Schedules are prepared at least two weeks in advance; therefore staff was encouraged to put in leave requests in a timely manner. Computer VOA computers must be shared during the shift. One staff cannot utilize the computer for the duration of the shift. Schedule C. Padmore prepares staff schedule at least one week in advance, therefore staff was encouraged to submit their leave request in advance to ensure the facility have adequate coverage. Emergencies do happen; however, staff was asked to submit request at least two weeks in advance. No last minute personal leave requests (Only in emergency situations) Announcements None Table Top Drill This month table top drill is on “Service Interruption” C. Padmore provided staff with a scenario on service interruption, “Water Main Break” at the facility. Staff discussed ways to ensure the safety of our clients and staff while continuing to provide services for our clients. Questions/Comments None
