After winning junior tournaments I wanted more and therefore; I challenged myself to the next level. I remember having a chat with my dad, he was giving me a father to son chat about life and what is best to focus on whether academic studies or sport? As he was concerned because I was spending more time playing sports than doing school work. He said life of sport is hard but, I reassured him that everything will be fine. I knew I had a mind set and ability not to give up because my strength lies on mental toughness and my settling for second best wasn’t /is not satisfying outcome.
A computer company has had a recent increase in workers, but they have very little workspace available. The company has about one hundred seventy-five workers with an age range of thirty to sixty-five years old. The head of the company has decided that the best solution for providing workspace for employees is to have half of the employees work from home on their own computers. Employees will be given a certain amount of work each day that they will be required to finish at home. The company will also check-up on employees’ progress every week through video chat or phone call.

Please be advised that Michael Cruz was enrolled as a 1st grade student at Oilton Elementary School on August 21, 2014. Michael performed exceptionally well throughout the school year academically. On March 9, 2015, the academic team including the building-level teacher, classroom teachers, and parents met to discuss Michael’s academic abilities and the possibility of promoting Michael into the 2nd grade. The academic team considered Michael’s academic abilities and social maturity and determined it was in Michael’s best interest to place him into the 2nd grade. It was agreed upon that the academic team would monitor Michael’s progress and consider academic placement at the conclusion of the 2014-2015 academic year.

I choose USAA as my company because I’ve been serving in the military the past 26 years. The company is ran prominently by ex-service members that provide a vast amount of financial products and services to include auto loans, insurances, and investment services to name a few. It has been a pleasant experience anytime I’ve needed to utilize their services and there customer support teams are top notch.

As the corporate HR director, Judith Dixon should attempt to find a solution that prevents litigation by Maalick. Not only does Maalick have a very strong case against Treton, but trials can large financial expenses and severely damaged reputations for organizations as a whole (Wade, 2014). A similar situation occurred at Turner Industries and instead of quickly addressing the complaint, the company spent thousands of dollars in legal fees, paid $4 million in damages, and greatly lost the prestige. Therefore, Dixon should take the situation very seriously and ensure the situation is fully handled.
I believe that when it comes the leave policy, it will decrease unscheduled time off. The change in the policy leave from seven vacation days and five sick leave to twelve days PTO will be a welcome move for Superior’s employees as they can emulate their unscheduled leave to their managers at least two days in advance so that the manager has a reaction time to plan that days schedule. When it comes to decreasing the unscheduled time off, it is binding to apply a policy that gives one a lay out on emulating their offs in advance to her/ his management team so that there can be options when the time comes. The duty or power will fall on the worker to emulate the time off for only emergency conditions. It can also aid in the process of one leaving early and making it harder for others when they leave.
I am writing to request for vacation time from Sept.1st through Sept.21st going to China to visit my family. I checked with Cynthia that we can start August’s Billing for both core early and finish them before I leave, and I will work on September’s billing when I come back to work on Sept 22nd.
Ann, as follow up to our conversation concerning the excessive amount of leave approvals that were submitted outside of EPIC’s approval time and not in accordance with policy for your department. Although I do understand LaShell was the direct supervisor, however, please be mindful as we move forward that some type of checking/reminder system is implemented for your team to assist in the process and to ensure incidents like this don’t occur.
Mr. Asiedu stated that requests for overtime should be submitted to him in advance and would be approved depending on the circumstances and if budget allowed. He suggested that CCs addressed this issue during individual supervision with PNs and if continued reoccurrences inform him.
