We live during a time where the world is at our fingertips. We live in a world where an apple is not just a fruit and a chip is not just something that we eat with a sandwich. Sliced bread is not the most amazing thing any more. The Unites States Postal Service (USPS) is becoming less and less of a necessity with the changes of America's needs. In order to keep up with the 21st century, the USPS needs to be reconstructed in order to meet the needs of a changing world by being accessible through the internet, being advertised more to the younger generation, and being more secure from theft and destruction.

Now a days, kids are coming out of the womb with smart phones and wifi passwords. They do every thing on the internet - apple pay, amazon , text messaging. The use of sending letters is no longer relevant because there is email and social media. Stone writes, “ More people are e-mailing? So meet their needs.” If everyone is is on the internet, then that is where USPS needs to be. USPS can send email updates in newsletters. USPS could come out with a new online newsletter every week. It would be hard to forget about USPS if it entertained you with staff interviews, interesting facts, and updates once a week. The scare of identity theft and stolen money or letters gives even the oldest of the oldies a reason to learn how to use the internet. Thievery is not going away, so USPS needs to adapt. To keep mail more secure, locate the drop off boxes in front of the store windows to allow for workers to keep an eye on in the case of a robbing. To keep mail trucks secure, have two people on the truck, one person must be on the truck at all times. If the mail is being more closely watched, it lessens the chances of being stolen, thus lessening the chance of identity theft through stolen
