I have often exaggerated the workplace and lifestyle of a social worker. After meeting with a fellow social worker, I am now able to understand their busy lifestyle. A social worker has to consider the struggles clients have experienced and hear their narratives. At the same time, these social workers need to keep their life in order in a professional and healthy way. A social worker I had the chance to meet, has endured four years of training at Thompson Rivers University: he received a bachelor degree off social work with a child welfare specialization, and two practicums, as well as regular training introduced by the government; that broadened his understanding on domestic violence, child welfare, and interview training. He stated six particular duties: provide child safety, child welfare, family care, community development, assisting individuals and being a go-to person to fellow clients (personal communication, January 27, 2016).
Social work professions need to understand the importance of how individuals interact both with other people and their environment, to have an understanding how individuals are affected by these interactions (Rogers, p. 2). According to Rogers (2016), “Social workers are knowledgeable about human behavior across the life course; the range of social systems in which people live; and the ways social systems promote or deter people in maintaining or achieving health and well-being. Social workers apply theories and knowledge from the liberal arts to understand biological, social, cultural, psychological, and spiritual development (p. 2). Their work with clients begins with assessments to evaluations of intervention and is based in and supports of the core value system of the profession.

1. The cartoon is of a Mongolian man's head, with eight tentacles spreading out. Each tentacle contains unwanted things that the illustrator thinks the Mongolians will take with them into Australia, should there be an influx of immigrants. The head if the man is drawn in a menacing manner, with an unfriendly scowl and two buck teeth that have a gap the size of another tooth between them. The multiple alleged vices of the Mongolians include: cheap labour, pak ah-pu (a gambling game), immorality, small-pox and typhoid, opium, bribery, fan-tan (another gambling game) and customs robbery. The fact that the man is depicted as an octopus implies that the Mongolians are thought of as slimy, unclean and therefore subordinate and perhaps the fact that the Asians would get a 'hold' on Australia.

There were three primary goals that this particular project set out to achieve. First was to ensure all parents and guardians had access to K12, MPS websites and enrollment information, including LEP families. When this project was initiated no K12 MPS, or the national K12 sites had a way for LEP parents to access information in their primary language or contact information on how to obtain an interpreter. At the conclusion of the 2015/2016 academic year, 100% of K12 MPS’s have information on their websites on the process and phone number to obtain an interpreter.
In my previous milestone paper, I identified a fundamental challenge that we must overcome in the launch of our application to our target market: Users must be educated in using our application the right way. I identified this as a fundamental problem because our application will not be able to keep the promise of safeguarding users if they do not use the product correctly. The consequences deriving from untrained users are considerably important, as the life of our users can depend on it.
I was able to understand that the IPad Pro has a 12.9 inches display screen with a 2048x2732 pixel resolution. I think this resolution is high enough for people that enjoy to watch video and play video game. It operates under IOS 9 which is a mobile operating system for apple with dual-core. It is available in 32gb and 128gb storage with a 4gb Ram. IPad pro almost as large as the 13.3 inch MacBook air. Although the IPad Pro come with a keyboard and allow multi-windows. If you want to use the IPad Pro as a regular laptop, I think 4gb Ram is not good enough. When I look at the specification, it states that the CPU is Dual-core 2.26GHz. I was able to understand what a dual-core is, but not really sure about the meaning of 2.26GHz. And when I look at the Camera features, I was a little confuse about the meaning of 1.12m pixel size.
When first starting my program I remembered from our notes that we needed to import random on the first line when starting the program. Next, I made my header. I used the “*” symbol in order for python to know thats what I wanted as my out put and so I typed print(“*”*40). I did this so that the asterisks would go 40 times across my screen. Then, I typed out my header so you could understand what kind of program I was doing. I titled it Program 3 - Even or Odd. Then I assigned the variable number to input(“Please enter a number: “), so that then when the program runs it will ask the user to enter a number. On this first part of the program I typed print(“You entered: “ + number). I did this because it tells the user You entered: #. By using
I really enjoyed your post. Your employer appears to be very open in empowering nurses and providing patients with the best care. Organization that focus on people as the priority are more successful and have healthy work environment (Huber, 2014). In my opinion, nurses that have autonomy tend to be happier and more productive. Additionally, you are part of promoting a learning culture within the hospital. People can come to you for advice on skincare that is not only correct but also current with healthcare standards. Support from the organization and unit can be beneficial to nurses, patients, and overall care.
Sonja is seriously injured in an auto accident. After six months, she is still unable to return to work. She has no income from her job, and the insurance premium payments are financially burdensome. In this case Sonja has an ordinary life insurance with the waiver-of-premium attached so after six months all premiums would be waived if Sonja is totally disabled. Under some policies, a retroactive refund of the premium paid during the first six months would be paid. (Rejda, George, McNamara, 2014).
