Question 5. There are three isotopes of oxygen (16O, 17O and 18O). For each of the three isotopes, list the number of protons, neutrons, and electrons as well as the atomic number and atomic mass. Explain each answer. Please both questions answered than rating helpful other wise un helpful
Timmy: Titanium has an atomic number of 22, which means it has 22 protons.  The average mass is closest to 48 which means the number of protons and neutrons should add to 48.  If there are 22 protons, then there are 26 neutrons.  The charge is 2+ which means there are two more electrons than protons, so there are 24 electrons.   Answer: protons=22, neutrons=26, electrons=24 ONE of Timmy's answers is incorrect.  Explain the mistake that Timmy made AND what the correct answer should be.
Four elements are named for planets in our solar system (including the ex-planet Pluto). Give their names and symbols. One element is named for a state in the United States. Name the         element and give its symbol. Two elements are named in honor of women. What are their names and symbols Several elements are named for countries or regions of the world.
