Concept introduction:
The cerebrum is composed of two halves each half of the cerebrum is known as the right hemisphere and the left hemisphere. Both the hemispheres are divided into smaller lobes, which are the functional areas of the brain. The cerebrum regulates the motor control and the cognitive functions. The cerebral hemisphere is divided into five anatomical lobes. The names of the lobes are frontal, parietal, temporal, occipital, and insula.
