Chapter 6: Modularizing Your Code with Methods
1. Salesperson's Commission Calculator (Nr 1, Page 408)
Create an application that lets the user enter a salesperson's revenue sale and the rate of
commission paid by the company, and display the commission earned. For example:
• If a salesperson sells $100,000 in revenue while working with a company that pays 5
percent of the revenue, his/her commission check will be $5,000.
• if a salesperson sells $100,000 in revenue while working with a company that pays 8
percent of the revenuo, his/her commission check will be $8,000.
The program should have a method named CalculateDisplayCommission that receives the
revenue sale by a salesperson and the commission percentage as arguments, and calculates
and displays the commission earned by the salesman.
See examples below:
Salesperson's Commis.

True or false: Java variables cannot start with a capital letter.
TOPICS: Data and Expressions
MUST BE IN JAVA. PLEASE USE COMMENTS AND WRITE THE CODE IN SIMPLEST FORM.
Write an application that reads a value representing a number of seconds, then displays the equivalent amount of time as a combination of hours, minutes, and seconds. For example, 9999 seconds is equivalent to 2 hours, 46 minutes, and 39 seconds.
Hint: This requires using the % modulus operator. The trick with multiple units of measure like this is to start with the largest unit (hours) and work down.
Testing: Submit testing exhibits using the following inputs: 0, 1, 60, 3600, 3661, and 9999

If you are provided with two numbers, say A and B, A is the dividend and B is the divisor, A mod B is there a remainder of the division of A and B. Modulo operator is an arithmetical operator which is denoted by %. Create a program that asks the user to enter two values then get the remainder of the two values and create a print statement to print the result. All statements should be inside of Modulo function. Call the Modulo function in your main function using the "function with no parameters and return values" method. Constraint: Apply the User-defined Functions type of function. Input 1. Convert Dollars to Euro and Euro to Dollars. Program should allow you to enter the customer name, destination, money converted from and money converted to. After each customer transaction the name, destination, and both money amounts should be stored on a history file. Because the exchange rate changes daily you want a system that will easily adapt to the change. Your program needs to read text file (notepad) that will contain the conversion rates. That way each morning when you get to work you can put the new rates in the text file. Your program will read the text file as soon as you turn it on (Form_Load) and…arrow_forward

- Text Book: Starting Out with Programming Logic & Design - Fifth Edition This lab requires you to think about the steps that take place in a program by writing pseudocode. Read the following program prior to completing the lab. Write a program that will take in basic information from a student, including student name, degree name, number of credits taken so far, and the total number of credits required in the degree program. The program will then calculate how many credits are needed to graduate. Display should include the student name, the degree name, and credits left to graduate. Step 1: This program is most easily solved using just five variables. Identify potential problems with the following variables declared in the pseudocode. Assume that the college has the ability to offer half credits. (Reference: Variable Names, page 39-40). Variable Name Problem (Yes or No) If Yes, what’s wrong?
