Memorandum of Association: When a limited liability company is formed and is in its registration process, it is always advisable to have a detailed understanding of the duties of the shareholders and their relationship with the company. A legal document that gives basic details about the company such as the name of the company, its physical address, details of all the shareholders and number of shares distributed within them, shareholder’s relationship and duties towards the company, etc. can be termed as Memorandum of Association (MOA).
