Chapter 2.2, Problem 2.2RIA
Summary Introduction
Visible light of 400 to 700 nm is used in the conventional microscopes to illuminate as well as to produce a magnified image of the specimen. On the other hand, fluorescence microscope employs a high intensity light source that excites the fluorescent species in the sample. This microscopy was developed as an outgrowth of ultraviolet microscope.
