Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Triglycerides are the storage form of lipids, which comes from the dietary sources. It is stored in adipose tissues; when blood glucose concentration is low in the blood, the triglycerides are used as the source of energy. Lipogenesis is the process of lipid synthesis similar as glycogenesis, and gluconeogenesis is used for the energy storage in our body. Lipolysis is similar as glycolysis, and glycogenolysis is used for the production of energy.
