Interpretation:

The reason for caffeine used as an ergogenic food and the disadvantage of using caffeine should be determined.

Concept Introduction:

• Ergogenic food: Those substances that enhances the performances of an athlete.
• Caffeine: Caffeine is a chemical compound which stimulates the central nervous system thereby giving energy to the body. The fatigue or tiredness in our body is caused due to the presence of adenosine, so the caffeine blocks the adenosine and prevents tiredness from our body.
