Cnidarians are the eumetazoans (having true tissues developed from distinct layers of embryo). Cnidaria and ctenophore are the two phyla that come under eumetazoans having a radial symmetry and are also known as soft-bodied animals. They have a diploblastic body plan and lack organ system and coelom.
