In the following exercises, write a
Average Write a program that allows scores to be input one at a time, and then displays the average of the scores upon request. (See Fig. 3.30.) The user should type a score into the top text box and then click on the Record button. This process can be repeated as many times as desired. At any time, the user should be able to click on the Calculate button to display the average of all the scores that were entered so far. Note; This program requires two class-level variables.

Use a Procedure named Sort to which the three values are passed ByRef and use a “Swap” procedure similar to the one in Example 3. See Fig. 5.36.arrow_forwardThe federal government developed the body mass index (BMI) to determine ideal weights. Body mass index is calculated as 703 times the weight in pounds, divided by the square of the height in inches, and then rounded to the nearest whole number. Write a program that accepts a person’s weight and height as input and gives the person’s body mass index. See Fig. 5.4. NOTE: A BMI of 19 to 25 corresponds to a healthy weight. This question is done in visual basicarrow_forward
- Introduction Some number of teams are participating in a race. You are not told how many teams are participating but you do know that: Each team has a name, which is one of the uppercase letters A-Z. No two teams have the same name, so there are a maximum number of 26 teams. Each team has the same number of members. No two runners cross the finish line at the same time – i.e. there are no ties. At the end of the race we can write the results as a string of characters indicating the order in which runners crossed the finish line. For example: ZZAZAA We can see there were two teams: A and Z. Team A’s runners finished in 3rd, 5th and 6th place. Team Z’s runners finished in 1st, 2nd and 4th place. Scoring the race Each runner is assigned a score equal to their finishing place. In the example above team Z’s runners achieved scores of 1, 2 and 4. Team A’s runners scores were 3, 5, and 6 respectively. The team’s score is the sum of the members score divided by the number of people on…arrow_forwardQ5) write algorithm and draw flowchart for the problem: Read two numbers and find subtraction two numbers and then compare the result more than or less than with number 10?arrow_forwardExercise 5: Part I Use of different controls and functions 1. - Problem 7: Pennies for Pay Write a program that caclulates how much a person would earn over a period of time if his or her salary is one penny the first day and two pennies the second day, and continues to double each day. The program should ask the user for the number of days. Display a table showing how much the salary was for eah day, and then show the total pay at the end of the pay period. The output should be displayed in a dollar amount, not the number of pennies. Input validation: Do no accept a number less than 1 for the number of days worked. The bar chart displays one asterisk for each 10 points scored by a player. For example, if a player has scored 48 points, then display 4 asterisks. An example of the program is shown below: Enter points earned for the season by Art >> 10 by Bob >> 20 by Cal >> 30 by Dan >> 40 by Eli >> 50 Points for Season (each asterisk represents 10 points) Art * Bob ** Cal *** Dan **** Eli ***** import java.util.Scanner; public class BarChart2 { public static void main (String[] args) { Scanner input = new Scanner(System.in); int artPoints; int bobPoints; int calPoints; int danPoints; int eliPoints; final int AMT_EACH_ASTERISK = 10; System.out.println("Enter points earned for the season"); System.out.print(" by Art >> "); artPoints = input.nextInt();…arrow_forward

Each student's data contains student first name and test scores. The program should accept positive integers only for test scores and ignore non-positive integers. Each student may has a different number of test scores; the program should receive input for test scores until input "0". Finally, the program outputs each student name with the sum of his/her marks.
