Chapter 4.5, Problem 4.18CP
Explanation of Solution
Boolean variables:
Boolean variables are referred as “bool”, commonly used as flags which gives intimation whether the condition exists.
- It can reference any of the two values, either “True” or “False”.
- Flag is used to remember something or leaves a sign for the other parts of the
program. - The condition does not exist when the flag is set to false.
- The condition exists when the flag is set to true.
Example Program:
//Include libraries
using System;
//Declare the namespace
namespace ConsoleApp2
{
//Define the class name
class Program
{
//Define the Main() function
static void Main(string[] args)
{
//Declare and assign the variables
int number = 6;
bool flag_val;
//Check to check the number is odd or even
if (number % 2 == 0)
//set flag variable as True
flag_val = true;
