Describe an imaginary process that violates both the first and the second laws of
The imaginary process that violates both thermodynamics laws of first and second.
Explanation of Solution
The 1st law of thermodynamics explains that the amount of heat in the form of energy is transfer from one state to another state. This means heat cannot be formed or destroyed.
The 2nd law of thermodynamics explains that total available entropy of any specified isolated system will never reduce with respect to time. The entropy will always be constant for the cases where the given system is in equilibrium or go through reversible process.
For violating the both laws; assume that a system producing 7 kWh of electricity where 6 kWh of heat is transferring to an electric resistance wire.
