- ats−Numeric average test score of a student entered by a user.
2. Below Mentioned functions are used
- btnDisplay_Click()-Called when user clicks Calculate button in Gui and calculates the result for admission.
Program description:

Previously, you wrote a program named Admission for a college admissions office in which the user enters a numeric high school grade point average and an admission test score. The program displays Accept or Reject based on those values. Now, create a modified program named AdmissionModularized in which the grade point average and test score are passed to a method that returns a string containing Accept or Reject.
Create an application with a method that accepts a string as an argument and returns the number of words it contains. For instance, if the argument is "Four score and seven years ago," the method should return the number 6. The application should let the user enter a string, and then it should pass the string to the method. The number of words in the string should be displayed.
Create an application with a method that accepts a string as an argument and returns a copy of the string with the first character of each sentence capitalized. For instance, if the argument is "hello. my name is Joe. what is your name?" the method should return the string "Hello. My name is Joe. What is your name?" The application should let the user enter a string and then pass it to the method. The modified string should be displayed.

In previous chapters, you have developed a class that holds catering event information and an application that tests the methods using four objects of the class. Now modify the Event and EventDemo classes as follows: Modify the method that sets the event number in the Event class so that if the argument passed to the method is not a four-character String that starts with a letter followed by three digits, then the event number is forced to A000. If the initial letter in the event number is not uppercase, force it to be so. Add a contact phone number field to the Event class. Add a set method for the contact phone number field in the Event class. Whether the user enters all digits or any combination of digits, spaces, dashes, dots, or parentheses for a phone number, store it as all digits. For example, if the user enters (920) 872-9182, store the phone number as 9208729182. If the user enters a number with fewer or more…arrow_forwardQ1. Create a method that transforms a time given in seconds to a String that shows the hours, minutes, and seconds like the time on a digital clock. The String returned from the method shows the time as hours:minutes:seconds. Use the following header: public static String convertTime(int totalSeconds) Write a test program that asks the user for the time in second then displays the time in hours:minutes:seconds. Hint: Use the / operator to get the number of minutes, and the % operator to get the number of seconds left over. Sample runs Enter time in seconds: 150 0:2:30 Enter time in seconds: 2533 0:42:13 Enter time in seconds: 15463 4:17:43arrow_forward
- 3. Create a program for Smalltown Regional Airport Flights that accepts either an integer flight number or string airport code from the options in Figure 8-33. Pass the user’s entry to one of two overloaded GetFlightInfo() methods, and then display a returned string with all the flight details. The method version that accepts an integer looks up the airport code, name, and time of flight; the version that accepts a string description looks up the flight number, airport name, and time. The methods return an appropriate message if the flight is not found. Farrell, Joyce. Microsoft Visual C#: An Introduction to Object-Oriented Programming (MindTap Course List) (p. 347). The method should accept two arguments: a reference toa String object and an integer. The integer argument is a character position within theString, with the first character being at position 0. When the method executes, it shoulddisplay the character at that character position. The method does not return anything. Here is an example of a call to the method:showChar("New York", 2);In this call, the method will display the character w because it is in position 2. - In python Add the following four methods to your Crew class: move(self, location): This takes in a location as a string, along with self, and attempts to move the crew member to the specified location. If location is one of the five valid location options ("Bridge", "Medbay", "Engine", "Lasers", or "Sleep Pods"), then this should change self.location to that new value. Otherwise, the function should print out the message: Not a valid location. repair(self, ship): first_aid(self, ship): fire_lasers(self, ship, target_ship, target_location): The above three methods represent tasks that a basic Crew member is not capable of (but one of its derived classes will be able to accomplish). So each of them should simply print out a message of the form: <Name> doesn't know how to do that. Examples: Copy the following if __name__ == "__main__" block into your hw12.py file, and comment out tests for parts of the class you haven’t implemented yet. if __name__ == '__main__': crew1…arrow_forwardPattern and Value are two strings that you must use. The pattern string, which denotes a pattern inside a string, is made up just of the letters a and b. For instance, the string catcatgocatgo matches the pattern aabab (where cat is represented by letter A and go by letter B). Additionally, it matches a, ab, and b pattern. To check whether a value matches a pattern, create a method.arrow_forwardModify the Percentages application whose main() method holds two double variables. Assign values to the variables. Pass both variables to a method named computePercent() that displays the two values and the value of the first number as a percentage of the second one. For example, if the numbers are 2.0 and 5.0, the method should display a statement similar to “2.0 is 40.0 percent of 5.0.” Then call the method a second time, passing the values in reverse order. For testing use the values 2.0 and 5.0. An example of the program is shown below: 2.0 is 40.0 percent of 5.0 5.0 is 250.0 percent of 2.0arrow_forward
- In this lab, you complete a partially written Python program that includes built-in methods that convert Strings to all uppercase or all lowercase. The program prompts the user to enter any string. To end the program, the user can enter "done". For each string entered, call the built in methods lower() and upper(). The program should call these methods using a string object, followed by a dot (.), followed by the name of the method. Both of these methods return a string with the string changed to uppercase or lowercase. Here is an example: sample = "This is a String."result = sample.lower(); result = sample.upper(); The source code file provided for this lab includes the necessary input and output statements.
